Hollywood Republicans Give To McCain

LAT's Andrew Malcolm reports:

Celebrities and owners and executives of sports franchises chipped in $273,000 to John McCain and various Republican campaign committees in the past quarter.

Hollywood types who gave McCain the maximum $2,300 include Kelsey Grammer, Tom Selleck and his wife, Jillie Mack Selleck. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer also gave $5,000 to a joint fund-raising committee on McCain's behalf.

I am more than surprised about Kelsey Grammar being a republican. My fiance and myself, without fail, watch Frasier every night. We knew he had a little cocaine problem but this is much worse. It's weird to find out that people are republican. It makes you change your entire view of them. I have at least. Sad.
