O'Reilly: Gore Going To Netroots Nation Like Going To "Klan Gathering"

On Saturday, former Vice President Al Gore made a surprise appearance at the Netroots Nation convention in Austin, TX. In his speech, Gore praised the gathering of progressives, saying that they are part of an effort to "reclaim the integrity of American democracy."

While the attendees of Netroots Nation received Gore with enthusiasm, his appearance has caused Fox News's Bill O'Reilly to declare that Gore has "gone off the deep end."

On his radio show today, O'Reilly claimed that Gore was now associating himself with the most "hateful group in the country." "And I'm including the Nazis and the Klan in here," said O'Reilly." He then claimed that attending Netroots Nation was "the same as if he stepped into the Klan gathering."

Unfortunately B O (so fitting) IS listened to. I STILL have run-ins with 2 of my brothers, both fairly intelligent but woefully uninformed. One is an anti-liberal so no matter what good the left does or how bad the right is, its STILL better than anything the "libs" have, and the other's a "big picture" guy that pays more attention to aliens and crop circles than takes his civic responsibility to be as informed as possible seriously. As a result the anti-liberal has more sway with him and he believes the hype about McCain rather than the truth and thinks "experience" is the key to being a qualified president.
I REALLY hope the election integrity advocates are out in force so this election isn't stolen. I want the real truth of how the country feels about the republicans to be reflected in the vote. I think if it is, the republicans will get CRUSHED and run away from embarrassment.
