Spencer Pratt: John McCain Is Helping Us Go To Iraq

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, star of MTV's "The Hills" reality show, sat down today's "Extra".

Montag, whose late stepbrother served 3 years in Iraq and Afghanistan (he recently died falling off a roof in Colorado), is planning a trip to perform for American troops stationed in the Middle East. Heidi says, "My brother was an airborne ranger in Afghanistan and Iraq. It's very important to me and important to Spencer to support the troops and go over there."

Montag also talked about her budding friendship with presidential hopeful Senator John McCain's daughter, Meghan, commenting, "She's very sweet. We have a lot in common." The pair were photographed last week dining together in Los Angeles.

But how will they get to Iraq? Spencer Pratt said, "I think Meghan McCain is helping organize Heidi and our Iraq trip. Her dad definitely has some pull with the military. I think she's going to put that together for us."

Back in April John McCain called Montag a "talented actress" after she said she planned to vote for the Arizona senator.

Hey, kids! Let's make The Invasion of Iraq a reality show!! Only this one will be "real" reality. We can have these two white, blond, red-blooded American'ts parading around in the Green Zone, of course, and show pictures and stories of those who have been KIA or, as we like to say in reality-TV world, "voted off the show." If McCain and anyone from this camp truly watched the show (yes, I have I admit) they would not associate themselves with this pair. He is cry-baby control freak and she, well she is just plain dumb for being with him. Her parents dont even like him. This is a publicity stunt for them and the governement would be wasting their time, money and resources by having to worry about them. Spencer is trying to promote her singing career on the cheap, he even released a horrible (homemade) music video of her singing in her bikini, bouncing around the beach. I was embarassed for her.

Good for her brother for serving though, with all that money it takes guts to want to fight for ones country and not just have a lifelong vactaion.

I think you meant "poles" and I certainly agree with you. When I was in Viet Nam, when entertainers came to perform, all we really wanted to see were the scantily clothed girls... so this one on a pole, would do wonders to lift the spirits of the troops (among other things).

I think they are going to set up a club booth and she will order drinks. then they will set up a swag table where she can shop for free stuff. Then she will lip sync some crappy assed over produced "song" while her boyfriend takes video of her.

This will be a great show and the muppets will apper with her. Cheny will do a jig and DonaldRunsfield will come as a field guide. This will be Great and something to be proud of. Lieberman will be there with Mc Cain explaining what conutries boarder Iraq and Runsfeld will tell them Boston, Arizonia, and New York border Iraq. Mc Cain will scold Runsfeld and tell him he already new that. Runsfeld will be sent back into retirement. Bill O Riley will be saying great things about this important event and how the Democrats lost out
