Graham: Romney "Very Much A Contender" For VP

The Hill:

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) is "very much a contender" to be Sen. John McCain's running mate, according to one of McCain's closest allies on Capitol Hill.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who earlier this year told The Hill that McCain's vice presidential pick should be someone the Arizona senator "feels comfortable with," said Romney fits that description.

"I think he's very much a contender for the job," Graham said. "They have a good relationship. That's all I'll say."

I agree! I'll be so glad to have him back to play with. Can't tell you. I thought Jindal would have also been a blast, but Romney sort of one-ups him because Plastic Boy and his Jesus Jammies will be so hated by the evangelicals. Yet another chasm for the grand oil party!

OMG what a yawn. If it is Romney it would not be a good idea to announce it this week because Romney is not exactly new or exciting so if he is trying to steal Obama's thunder, this won't work.
