Poll: Obama Leading In Colorado, But Race Is Tight

A new Rasmussen Reports poll shows Obama with a seven point lead in Colorado, 49% to 42%. However, when leaners are included, McCain pulls to within three points, 50% to 47%. Over the past forty years, Colorado has gone Democratic just once--for Bill Clinton in 1992.

Colorado is one of the 11 states McCain targeted with ads to little or negative effect.

In the Colorado Senate race, CQ Politics recently changed their rating from "No Clear Favorite" to "Leans Democratic."
