Scarborough Defames Bloggers Who Are Right On 'Surge'

For all of my ideological differences with the man, I've always appreciated the way MSNBC's Joe Scarborough has seemed to applaud and encourage people of all leanings to get engaged in the political life of the country. But I have to condemn his actions this morning, where he launched into an anti-blogger diatribe that was both defamatory and, even worse, cliched. Now, I'll admit that I, having long given up blogging from home (which too often led to shameful practices, like the watching of Judging Amy reruns on TNT), personally benefit from actually coming into an office, where I am encouraged to wear actual pants and am soothed psychologically by the clickety-clack of other people's keyboards. Still, the key difference between me and Joe Scarborough is that I am right on the "Surge" and he is wrong, and changing into my flannel footie PJ's isn't going to change that.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a bag full of crushed up Cheeto dust to mail to MSNBC's Manhattan headquarters.

Sorry Joe, you need to learn your history. World War II started when Germany invaded Poland on September 1, 1939. The war did not begin when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. What a bloody idiot! And this guy is in the news reporting business?

Definitively and for all time. It really wasn't a fair match up, Joe's none too bright and Rachael is well educated and brilliant. Joe had a little hissy fit, flung his microphone down and walked off the stage in a rage. If that's what you call putting "her in the dust" I guess you're welcome to but I'm pretty sure that only Joe's mom would agree with you. .

Whenever they share a panel, she IS the Adult. It's embarrassing how he behaves when she exposes his arguments as shallow and lacking in logic. He doesn't comport himself like a competent attorney.

Scarborough is worthless in my opinion. He always spits out lies on his show but I am almost certain he will lose this show like he lost Scarborough country. He could not handle the criticism.

WW11 started on December 7 1941? It is just this sort of blinkered US-centric manipulation of history which causes so many near strokes in the rest of the world. Note to Scarborough- The American presence in WW11 started grudgingly in 1941. The rest of the "world" had been at it since 1939. But hey what's a couple of years between allies?

Maybe Joe could have a show in McCain's Czechkoslovakia, Somewhere on are near McCain's Iraq/Pakistan border where Iran is training Sunni Al Quade operatives. Joe is so fog brained he might find those places since McCain has affirmed they, like the surge , exist.

This IDIOT was arguing with GEN. CLARK about what happened during the Anbar awakening and the surge.

I wanted to punch the TV in. What the F... does Joe know about the military? If he was arguing with his panel it is ok, but he was trying to talk over Gen Clark-- the last Gen. to win a war-- as if he was in the same league as the Gen. was.

The temerity of this guy. He thinks now that he is a talking head on TV that he, all of a sudden, has all the answers and knows it all.
