Scarborough Defames Bloggers Who Are Right On 'Surge'

For all of my ideological differences with the man, I've always appreciated the way MSNBC's Joe Scarborough has seemed to applaud and encourage people of all leanings to get engaged in the political life of the country. But I have to condemn his actions this morning, where he launched into an anti-blogger diatribe that was both defamatory and, even worse, cliched. Now, I'll admit that I, having long given up blogging from home (which too often led to shameful practices, like the watching of Judging Amy reruns on TNT), personally benefit from actually coming into an office, where I am encouraged to wear actual pants and am soothed psychologically by the clickety-clack of other people's keyboards. Still, the key difference between me and Joe Scarborough is that I am right on the "Surge" and he is wrong, and changing into my flannel footie PJ's isn't going to change that.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a bag full of crushed up Cheeto dust to mail to MSNBC's Manhattan headquarters.

This past week they quoted polls that showed Obama losing support in key states. First they quote a Rasmusssen Poll showing Obama losing by 10 points in Ohio. They failed to mention that the day before a PPP poll showed Obama up by 8 points in Ohio. Determined to drive their story, on Thursday, they quoted a Quinnipiac/WSJ/WP poll that showed Obama down to a 2 point lead in Minnesota-yet on that very same day Rasmussen showed Obama ahead by 13 points in Minnesota. This selective use of polls to support a story line is disgusting and dishonest. Here is the thing to do. SIMPLY DO NOT WATCH, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, MORNING JOE. If we all boycott this show, we can let Scarborough know where he can put his Cheetos.

I don't care much for JS. His moronic attempt to have a sign-off tag line like that of Tim Russert is actually embarrassing. The end of his show is usually when I turn on MSNBC and I have to hear that idiotic question: "If its way too damn early.... it must be morning Joe"

I agree, i watch the show then slowly acid builds up in my stomach and i have to change it. His very inflated ego is reconized by everyone viewing . When he thought they had someing on Barak that he had not heard yet you could see his back straighten up and he was ready to pounce. His comments about the Berlin speech saying Obama did not explain in detail what he was aying was just stupid. Obama would of had taken hours to explain in detail what he was saying. This was a speech to being people togeather and Joe new it but his Hate and what i think is covered up racism shows. I could care less that he has Aferican Americans on it is done to make Joe look good but he is a sick puppy with alot of hate and anger and his fritios remarks show what a little BRAT he is.

I watch Joe every morning. I don't think he is the best television host, and I firmly believe just about anybody else could hold that time slot just about as well. In my opinion, it is not his political spin on things that make so many dislike him, but that he often appears far more arrogant than intelligent doing it. People know when they turn his show on they are going to be listening to a conservative, so there are know grounds to complain when ,occasionally, he says something you are not going to like that is kind of like peeing in a pool and then wondering why the water just got warm. However, the striking difference between Joe and those morons at FOX is his show has never been advertised as "fair and balanced."

Joe the dope. NBC wants to portray a balanced appoach unlike FOX but to their dismay they have a lineup that now rivals FOX (Bryan Williams, and Joe). His point of view is about as wide as the eye of the needle. Anyone who graduates from Alabama must be an intelect. LOL In reality he wants to feel comfotable with his neocon brothers. Mika is a joke...she has no clue. Her dad got her the job, speaking os affirmative action....­hmmm. The show stinks and needs a total staffing and name change.
