Brad Pitt Threatens Legal Action Over Family Photos

Lawyers for Brad Pitt on Thursday threatened legal action against anyone publishing recent photographs they say were taken by paparazzi of the actor and his newly enlarged family at their French estate.

Pictures of Pitt and his family in France were "surreptitiously" snapped using a powerful telephoto lens and sold to an unidentified buyer, the Los Angeles lawyers said in a letter published by the U.S. Web site The Smoking Gun (http://www.thesmokinggun.com).

The lawyers did not say which family members were in the pictures.

Pitt and actress Angelina Jolie, the mother of his children, have reportedly sold exclusive picture rights to the first photographs of their newborn twins to a U.S. publication for $11 million. The money would go to charity.

Charity Foundations are public records. Yet Jolie-Pitt Foundation is not listed in any of our 50 states. If it were, we could see income and expendutures. Till then any thing you read is speculation.

ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz, yawn. I feel compelled to comment because the whole world is oddly obsessed with these two child collectors. why? Both are extremely Over Rated. And btw, both never minded the paps. on the way up^ especially Brad pitt face who came from no where. A.J would be working at Wal-mart if not for John Voight.

Sigh... but maybe we Americans should leave them alone, Forever!

They still are trying to up the bidding: Unnamed publisher, 11 mil. Last week it was "C" and People" at 16 mil. Guess they saw the PuPs and decided to save some money. Oh, and lets not forget that the "Charity" is really the Jolie-Pitt Foundation­...left pocket to the right pocket.

MzTexas, they all know but don't care because it would interfer with their desire to focus on the negative opposed to the positive. Thats just what the bitter, cynical, jealous do and if they didn't have the JoliePitts to unleash on they'd just find someone else.

I hear the price is up to 17mil, and in the present economic state of the world, and the shinking donations many charities are facing, this is going to be a blessing. I know a few wks back they donated 1mil to a military wifes and childrens org that I had no idea existed which leads me to say that if it weren't for not just the JP's, but other advocates of different causes and benefactors of different charities, many wouldn't know about a lot of what and who is out there in need. I wouldn't have known about two of the five orgs I'm envolved with hadn't it not been for someone talking about their work with them, and so ignore those who rather expend energy railing against somebody doing something. They're a waste of time that could be better spent positively.
