Come quickly election of 2008 before this Republican blocks every last initiative that could help the poor. Further, in their time of being in charge, they have wrecked everything in sight. So much muck they left and now they obstruct any clean up efforts.

Clean up efforts? what the hell are you talking about you mean all the bad loans to folks who fail to pay thier bills or the liar loans made at the expense of the hardworking middle class.

Watch out the bailout is for 400,000 maybe loans and it hides the buy back of all the drippy crap ploans that Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae bought recently.
Washington Mutual, is on the verge of going belly up.
Kerry Killinger filled Chris Dodds pockets he and every one of his family members maxed out their donations, to his campaign and PAC I learned that right here on huffpo.
Killinger paid himself in the 100's of millions while his bank bleeds billions sold thousands of subprime liar loans.

Who is the bail out really helping? If you place the middle class in jeopardy of becoming the poor, and trtansfer their earnings to the mega wealthy thieves.

The bailout Stinks of wealth transfer to the bankster fraudsters supported by the very politicians who
pretend to help save us.

I remember arguing in 06 with some neocon wanna-be girl on here that the housing bubble would burst. She insisted that the market had never been better. Guess she can eat crow now. Oh and goat, if they report the numbers in the same way that they do for unemployment (only counting people who are currently receiving unemployment benefits and not counting them if their benefits have run out even if they are still unemployed) the numbers may even be higher. No matter how you slice it 9000 people losing their homes a month is pathetic. It is laughable that cons argue that it is all due to lending practices(which they were instrumental in deregulating). Could'nt possibly have anything to do with stagnant or dropping wages, huge amounts of displaced workers, rampant unemployment and massive increases in the cost of living. How anyone would even consider voting republican these days blows my mind. If the republicans get their way we have soup lines to look forward to. Were McCain elected, and were he to continue to bed with corporate interests the way Bush has, I would not be surprised to see a mass exodus of U.S. citizens.

Yes, but this is all in our heads, right?? A mental recession? When I wake up from this nightmare, will Al Gore be president, 9/11 possibly prevented and if not Afghanistan carpet bombed, with our economy going strong, Bin Laden dead, and America going green because it can and not because we are getting choked to death with sky high oil prices??? The last 8 years really seem like some kind of surreal experience. Hard to fathom how we could have been dismantled by this administration so extensively and so blinking fast.
