Heather Mills' Publicist Quits, Calls Her "Impossible"

"Extra" has learned that Heather Mills' publicist, Michele Elyzabeth, has decided to quit after representing the former Mrs. Paul McCartney for the past four years. In a statement obtained by "Extra," Elyzabeth declares:

After working for Heather Mills for the past four years, I have decided to cease representing her. Since her divorce has become final, in my opinion, Heather has become an impossible person. Yesterday, we engaged in a heated argument during which she called me "stupid". I reminded her that she was not "God" and she answered, "I will never ever talk to you again". I have been very patient in my dealings with Heather, however, I cannot take any more. I have given her substantial unpaid time and attention. I am owed money. I refuse to be subjected to her outbursts. On reflection and given the way I have been treated, I now have sympathy with much of what the British Press has reported about her.

On second thought -as repellent as Heather is, she is a political activist who does want to make the world a better place. If she uses that money to further some of her causes, then that is a good thing. Unfortunatley, her personality gets in the way of her truly achieving very much of anything worthwhile.

What exactly is her political activism? I really know nothing about her except she is extremely unpleasant. And she has a wooden leg. And she was on "Dancing with the Stars" (which is weird already since she is not a star, only notorious). And she dumped water over McCartney's attorney's head. And she looks like a horse; much more so than Camilla Parker-Bowles.

If she wanted to make the world a better place she could start by taking her two hundred million dollars or however much she snaggled from McCartney and buy an island in the deep, deep, deep south Pacific and never be heard from again.

FWIW, Heather Mills used the money she won suing the police motorcyclist who hit her and caused her amputation, to set up the Heather Mills Health Trust which gives prosthetic limbs to people who have lost them to anti-personnel mines in war zones. She's also been very active in vegan and anti-landmine causes.

None of which contradicts rzan1's valid point that her personal behavior lessens the impact of her good deeds.

Wow, you people sound like you have little experience working with the ambitious and difficult. There are some toxic bosses, and yes, you try to avoid them, but sometimes it takes a while. However, some professions, like PR, require you to swallow a lot more than others.

Just to be clear it was the publicists job to take that flack from the media on behalf of Ms. High and Mighty. Not take a direct and harrasing attack from her employer.

The word is "flak," not "flack." Flak is a German acronym for shrapnel; flack is slang for a press agent.

But that's the point. Heather doesn't like to listen to sensible established people -- she represented herself in her own divorce because she didn't like the advice she was given by every attorney she contacted.

And this publicist of hers was kind of crazy herself. A loose cannon just like her. So are we surprised that this nutty publicist did something unprofessional and quit? um, no.

Truly, the publicist IS a loose cannon here. Airing dirly laundry before settling accounts is foolhardy at best, it is small and malicious at worst.
