Sherri Shepherd Gets A Butt Lift

After yesterday's discussion on breast implants and a visit from a plastic surgeon to "The View", Sherri Shepherd decided to fulfill her lifelong wish of having a butt lift.

But, as Sherri has a young son to provide for, a mortgage to pay, and a gas tank to fill, she opted not for the expensive Beverly Hills treatment but for cheap butt implants known as "booty poppers."

"I paid, like, twenty dollars for this booty," Sherri said.

Here's a suggestion for Huffpo - you do a round up of the Washington talk shows once per week and I really like the best late night jokes of the week - could you wait a whole week and just do a weekly "View" roundup so we won't have to see the headline and photo of what these inane ladies did yesterday every darn day? Interesting that Barbara is clearly not comfortable with "mainstream black women". Both Whoopie (whom i love) and Sherri (is she Star and Al's illegitmate child?) are at the far ends of what would be considered mainstream professional black women. Star Jones was a lawyer, hugely overweight, wig wearing and silly. Whoopie, an Oscar winner and highly talented actress, wears dreads, no bras and is never without sneakers, black pants and a big shirt. Sherri is our "street girl" and is busy keeping it real for a portion of the audience. Sherri is the antithesis of anybody I would be interested in watching. But the same can be said of Elizabeth the "barbie". The show is a joke, but clearly enough women keep watching to give them the ratings. Thank goodness, dear EMMY has never sullied herself and landed on any of The View member's mantlepieces.

You beat me to the query. - Any alien tuning into the huffpost would come to the conclusion this woman is a big (no pun intended) influence in American media as there are at least 2 stories about her on the media page almost daily.
