McCain Spokesman: Obama Hasn't Visited Mexico City!

Following Obama's trip abroad, it looked like the McCain campaign had lost a key talking point about Obama's failure to visit Iraq and Afghanistan recently enough.

But have no fear. Here's McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds on CNN today:

In fact, [Obama's] never met with President Uribe in Colombia, as John McCain has. He has still yet to take a trip to Mexico City to have those meetings there and his relationship with Canada, I think, took a turbulent roll through the primaries. So I think actually if you're to look at the experience of both candidates, that there are very telling differences.

These meetings that Barack Obama had taken throughout the week were a lot of meetings that John McCain was making for the fifth, sixth or seventh time in many cases, and these were his first meetings. So to compare them on the substance, we think, is really incomparable.

Since President Obama... Oops, I mean Senator Obama does not support the current free trade agreement, it is understandable why he did not go there.

The ONLY reason McCain went to Columbia, Canada and Mexico was to reassure them that all things in his administration will be status quo. He made speeches and said that he will work with Mexico to create more jobs there so that their people will not want to come to America.

Not only that, Obama hasn't visited Hooter's like McCain's 500 visits. McCain thinks drilling at Hooter's is the answer to a lot of things including (his) marriage. He thinks what we need at Hooter's is a surge. Withdrawal is out of the question. Stay in as long as possible. Don't even think about a time table.

Uhm..... who is running McCain's campaign? Are they TRYING to lose?

Last time they said Obama hasn't visited somewhere, Obama took the trip ..... and look how that went for the McCain campaign. Straight-talker enjoyed local Brats and a media appearance in the cheese aisle while Obama spoke to 200,000 and the 3 Major Network Anchors in Germany.

Now Obama "hasn't been to Mexico City?" Is that a Dare? - an attempt to COMPLETELY lose the Latino vote? Someone needs a good firing. I cannot believe that this constitutes a campaign..... anyone who would run a campaign this way is not qualified to run a country.... regardless of which cities he's visited.

Someone should tell Tucker to shut up right quick. We all know M.c. Anc 13nt went to Canada and illegally campaigned to raise funds there. And when he went to Colombia, he caused a lot of talk about the Colombian trade pact which many people view as undesirable (except for the very wealthy people, of course).

Tucker shouldn't be reminding people about that stuff.
