McCain Surrogate: Obama A "Fraud" Backed By "Pack Of Goons"

Joe Repya, the retired Lieutenant Colonel who attacked Obama on behalf of the McCain campaign in a statement, maintains a blog, where he has launched harsher, unedited riffs on a theme that McCain has made the centerpiece of his anti-Obama message: Obama is an inexperienced smooth-talker who cares more about politics than patriotism.

For example, on July 9, Repya wrote:

Is it any wonder that Barack Obama continues to look like the light wieght he is? How can American's seriously consider this fraud and his pack of goons as people competent to lead America at time of war? Please give me someone who actually knows what the US military is and is capable of doing. Not some illetist that wouldn't know and Army uniform from a Chicagop hotel doormans uniform.

And a week later:

I've seen some snake oil salesmen in my day, but the latest from Barack Obama has me stymied. Are there any educated, racial, thoughtful people out there that really believe that Barack Obama can eliminate the world of nuclear weapons?

I think there was a meeting amongst the rethuglicans. They decided to go as negative as possible this year. They think they have nothing to lose. The result of particularly negative campaigns is to supress voter turnout. Voters get so sickened and angry that many don't bother to vote. This is the only chance that Mc.Cain has to win. It's repulsive and totally devoid of a consicious!

And he needs a dictionary. I have a lot of typos in my ranting responses but if I had my own blog I think I'd take a moment to run my text through a spell-checker. Of course when you are always right about everything, as this guy obviously is, you don't need no stinking spell checker.

I don't want to seem anti-veteran but there is nothing behind this notion (that McCain is riding on day and night) that 'ooh, he's a veteran, he must know what is right about how to run the country'.

Oh I don't know. I saw plenty of raw sexism in the primary coming out of supposedly "liberal" people.

In fact, Obama shocked a lot of us with his rap music lyrics using the derogatory term for women in reference to HIllary.

Yeah, Repya was all about how Petraeus was the best guy ever last year (when Petraeus appeared before Congress). Is it any surprise he's backing McCain?

Spell check might be for wimps, but in this case it reveals that he either didn't write his blog or he didn't write his email that is posted on Snopes.com (see Ramierz's post for the link). The spelling of words such as "illetist" that's written on his blog and "Elite" that's written on his email are not merely typos. I'm no conspiracy theorist, but that email seems suspect. :-)

Back to being tired, like the rest of us, he should tired of being lied about as to why we went to war, especially because he fought in combat during the Vietnam war. Also, could someone please answer my question...What exactly is our victory? What did we gain if we didn't defeat the people who were responsible for 9/11 or who had WMD or who posed us any threats to us at all? I'm not trying to a smart aXX, I really want to know what is it they are saying we were victorious.
