McCain Surrogate: Obama A "Fraud" Backed By "Pack Of Goons"

Joe Repya, the retired Lieutenant Colonel who attacked Obama on behalf of the McCain campaign in a statement, maintains a blog, where he has launched harsher, unedited riffs on a theme that McCain has made the centerpiece of his anti-Obama message: Obama is an inexperienced smooth-talker who cares more about politics than patriotism.

Is it any wonder that Barack Obama continues to look like the light wieght he is? How can American's seriously consider this fraud and his pack of goons as people competent to lead America at time of war? Please give me someone who actually knows what the US military is and is capable of doing. Not some illetist that wouldn't know and Army uniform from a Chicagop hotel doormans uniform.

And a week later:

I've seen some snake oil salesmen in my day, but the latest from Barack Obama has me stymied. Are there any educated, racial, thoughtful people out there that really believe that Barack Obama can eliminate the world of nuclear weapons?

Again, the entire point to this, and parallels to Viet Name be damned, is DEFINE "WIN". Its easy to say "we are winning the war" but what does "win" mean? John Mccain can't tell you other than to say that there is a stable government in Iraq and alQaeda is defeated (of course, that leads to the chicken vs. egg position that AlQaeda wouldn't be in Iraq if WE weren't in Iraq, but I digress).

Every one of these "we need to win in Iraq" yahoos cannot answer the simplest of questions (just as it was with Viet Nam), "Define 'win'".

Another military hack for McCain. This was a low level officer with low level IQ. I was a low level Naval Officer and think Obama would be much better than McCain on all fronts. McCain is the fraud who only has prisoner of war experience. Near last at West Point/mediocre pilot/ but valiant prisoner of war. His Senate seat was bought by his wife's family money. Why will not McCain release all of his records? Is it true that he ended up giving the Cong what they wanted? Is it true that he made videos for the Viet Cong saying that the Americans bombed children hospitals, and civilians? Why did McCain not go home when he was given the chance? I thought it was the duty of all military personnel to get back home as soon as possible so that they could get back in the action. Is it true that the second plane he crashed killed 131 people? Why did some one that flew 25 hours in a war get 28 medals...and says he knows how to win the war...he has the record for most missed votes...most missed hearings...but the most flip flops.

McCain's campaign has been reduced to commenting about the Obama campaign intiatives. McCain himself is taking on the persona of Harry Carey at the end of his baseball play by play announcing career - McCain is no longer a player on the field and is becoming more and more obviously memory impaired as he makes comments from the side lines. He can't even keep his geography up to date, much less any actual details of "current events" that have transpired over the last decade or so.

The Obama campaign strategy will be to run McCain ragged chasing after Obama and issuing more and more divisive and defensive comments that rely on a reality that is only alive in the minds of the less than 28% of Americans who support Bush today. Obama has to ensure he waits until later in the campaign because if he makes McCain out to be pathetic and then has to continue whipping him for another month, the American people could turn on him. No one likes to watch someone beat a dead horse.

btw, the is second time I have tried to post this, or as similar a comment as I can make because the first time it "disappeared" and I have no idea if it just got lost in cyberspace or it is being "moderated" somewhere. Comments used to appear with a note that they were being moderated, and that didn't happen this time. So, sorry if this gets printed twice.
