Watch The "W." Trailer (VIDEO)

Here's the trailer for "W.", the upcoming Oliver Stone movie based on the life of President George W. Bush. Josh Brolin plays Bush, Elizabeth Banks plays his wife Laura, and Richard Dreyfuss plays Vice President Dick Cheney. Best of all, Rob Corddry plays former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer. The movie is slate for release on October 17.

any form of communication that captures how popular opinion can, like jello, be molded to support this most inept, shallow, self-centered son of a rich man is important; mistakes are the energy of wisdom; when understood, egregious, mistakes offer wisdom for generations.

if this portrayal depicts how, in its most perjorative meaning, truly simple this man is; if it includes the press' greed; if it describes how truth was turned into "truthiness" and how fear not of death but of not being re-elected allowed others to die; if it shows the power of language especially to mis-lead; if it gives us a whiff of how decayed our educational (read: political literacy) system has become or how, just as is feeding our families, enthusiastic, doubt is a must-do obligation; if it contains these realities and others similar, then i am most appreciative to mr. stone. not necessarily for me but for those younger than i.

those like bush, his policies, and his ilk cannot aquire the unrestrained power possessed in these past 8 years; this must not happen again; our story should be better than "my pet goat"; the real pain/outra­ge/tragedy is that he led us further from empathy than we already were; we move forward based on our overall ability to empathize; we allowed/set the stage/were the catalysts to moving backwards to self-centeredness; if this movie includes the real price of admission, then it's a good thing.

Stone originally wanted to cast the movie with monkeys, but Michael Moore complained it would be too similar to his FAH9/11 sequel.

Is the picture supposed to be Brolin made up to look like Bush? If it is he is not pulling it off. It looks more like Brolin made up to be Tommy Lee Jones, several years younger of course.

Hopefully it will have deleted scenes like the impeachment and indictment, trial and sentencing scenes for both W. and Cheney.
