Michelle Obama is my idea of a classy woman! I'm having a devil of a time trying to figure out what Cindy McCain is doing! She's always so over dressed! The last time John McCain appeared on "The View", he thanked Whoopi for dressing! I was completely offended by his remark. I guess if you look at Cindy McCain, she's in the McCain family "burka"! I do believe that John McCain insists that she constantly overdress. The clothes are certainly not my taste, and I'm contantly trying to decide if she just has bad taste, or are the clothes all vintage? The black suit she wore yesterday, with the doilie collar and cuffs has to be out of some old trunk somewhere! It would be such a relief to see Cindy wear something similiar to the way Michelle dresses. Not only would she look more contemporary, she'd be a hell of a lot more comfortable!

It is so nice to see a tall, classy, poised, educated woman like Michelle Obama, who will clearly be a role model for young women all across the board, when Barack is elected as POTUS. I do not view her as merely a black woman, but I view her as a representative of what middle class America is and how America can be represented abroad. Its such a pleasure to also see the family unit of Barack, Michelle and there two gorgeous girls. I can't wait to see them in the "White" House.

Vanity Fair have on their cover "Carla Bruni - the new Jackie O". I don't know about the rest of you but I am so sick and tired of hearing this tacky line using "the new" - for instance; 'Brown is the new Black' etc etc. Why do so-called journalists have to compare one person or one thing with another in such a way. It's tired, lazy and tacky to call someone 'the new' Jackie O. Everyone is an individual and shouldn't be drummed up as a 'new' version of someone else in this cheap and clichéd fashion.

Looks and appearance aren't everything, but since we are commenting on this "article".­..

Compare M Obama with C Bruni side by side. Look at both of them, and tell me that they are even in the same league? One of them is a woman. A real woman. A woman in the truest sense of the word. The other is a person. A nice person, but barely seems feminine compared to the other.

Style and grace can not be faked, and it doesn't matter what M Obama wears... she simply doesn't have it. And part of being "best dressed" is having style. M Obama has the style and class of Barbara Bush.

He has Multiple Sclerosis and walked with a cane for years back and forth to his job. They all ( 4 people) lived in a 2 bedroom apt on the South side of Chicago. Do some research.

Michelle looks absolutely gorgeous here. I'm not terribly impressed with what she usually wears (but not pantsuits, thank goddess). Forgive me, but I really wish she would get a different hair style. It looks too like Jackie O and I don't think it does her face any justice. Would love for her to have a short, sassy cut. Emphasis on SASSY.
