McCain's Latest Flip-Flop: BlackBerry Ownership

The good folks over at Progressive Accountability have highlighted this bit of video, in which John McCain sums up his approach to negotiating with Iran thusly, "So, if they want to communicate with us and we want to communicate with them, fine. We all have blackberries. It's fine."

They juxtapose this video with a section of McCain's July 13 interview with the New York Times in which the candidate admits that he neither owns a BlackBerry nor uses email. No wonder McCain is so insistent on having preconditions for negotiating with Iran, since actually owning a BlackBerry is a vital precondition to communicating with one.

Dementia is the explanation for every MCain utterance abd action. Why not get the opinion of medical experts? Idid and they all said early stage of what reagan had.

OK, so this Iran position is because of illegal immigrants going into Iraq, Iran doesn't like Israel, and Iran is a looming nuclear threat. This has nothing to do with Iran's oil reserves, a strategic presence in the Mid East, or the jewish vote back home. It is all about the destabilizing influence of Iran and Bre'r McCain is goin to whoop that tar baby into shape. And he is right at home in the Blackberry patch.

I don't want to take up for McCain, but maybe he's gotten one since then and has learned to use it. Probably not, but....
