Predator Star's Anti-Arab Comment Could Kill KY Senate Bid

The Libertarian Party of Kentucky's leadership will meet tonight to decide the fate of their Senate candidate, Sonny Landham. In the last week, Landham has made continual anti-Arab comments that culminated in an exchange on The Weekly Filibuster radio program Friday night. "So are you calling for a complete genocide of the Arab race? Is that what you're saying? Unless they raise the white flag?" asked one of the program's hosts, Sage Koontz.

"When you are in a war, you kill every thing that moves," responded Landham, a former actor who played Billy in action movie "Predator."

Friday's remarks came during Landham's second appearance on the internet radio program, and his comments were more intense than those from the first. In a Wednesday appearance on the Weekly Filibuster, Landham called for a stop to Arab immigration to the United States.

This statement alone should be posted as a reason that no one ever wins in war! Every human being deserves to live in peace and safety. This isn't surprising. When Sonny Landham was working on "Predator," the producers had to hire a bodyguard for him. Not to protect him from other people, but to protect other people from him. 'Nuff said.

Actually, if you look at who is the head of the party - Ken, and his role in Repub/Fashist party in 2000-2004, then it is obvious that this party is for subhumans.

I live in Kentucky and the story here is the first I have heard of this guy. He is a very frindge candiate who has virtually no support and is totally irrelevant.

We do have a very interesting race for the Senate this Fall though. The Democratic candidate, Bruce Lunsford has a good chance of picking off the biggest Republican obstructionist in Congress, Mitch McConnell. Anybody who wants to see McConnell defeated should countribute to Lunsford's campaign.

I agree. Bruce Lunsford needs to beat Mitch McConnell. Lunsford can do it. How great it would be to no longer see Mitch McConnell. He is one of the nastiest partisan Republicans out there. It would be great if people would support Lunsford with a few dollars.

This guy is irrelevant. The Democratic candidate, Bruce Lunsford has a very good chance of picking off the Republican's chief obstructionist, Mitch McConnell. This will be a very important and interesting race. And if he does, the much maligned "hillbillies" of eastern Kentucky will deserve a lot of the credit.

CaptV, while I agree that McConnell's ouster would be quite possibly the highlight of 11/4, it's a loooooong shot. And if it does happen, we'll have to thank the folks around Louisville, not the folks of eastern KY. I have a feeling they're going to stick by ol' Mitch.
