What does Britney Spears think about being included along with Paris Hilton in John McCain's latest political ad?

A representative from the 42West public relations firm declined to make a substantive comment to the Huffington Post, saying only, "why would we want to get Britney Spears involved in presidential politics?"

Sane enough. Rick Davis, perhaps you can answer that one?

I like this ad. I really DO!

I am an Obama fan and I actually think that McCain is playing to lose this election because he seems to be putting more pro-Obama ad out and even approves of it. That chanting was great and I feel so proud of being an American when I see that. Obama has allowed us to be proud of being an American. I did not even listen to the person who is talking because I think that chant is louder than that guy. If it is not louder than it was in my head because by the end of the ad. all I can think of is "O BA MA"!

Again GOP behind the curve Britney is off the paparazzi radar, there was a news story today about that, the paparazzi team stalking her house is down to an occassional two. Come to think of it Paris hasn't been in the media lately-a good thing. Blame those damn internets.

I just remember her smacking her gum and showing her true intellectual colors and politcal prowess in Farenheight 9/11. Something like, well, we should just support the President. When asked why, she said something like, well, because we should, because he is the President. Or some such babbling nonsense. Her being in a McCain ad, especially if the Obama campaign counters with her F. 9/11 performance, would be disastrous for the GOP. though I actually thought the same thing in 2004. You know, on a side note, no one ever mentions the fact the Michael Moore was almost completely vindicated in the last 4 years.

In NY there is a law banning commercial use of someone's image without permission . One might make the argument that it covers this situation. After all, they are selling something (one?)
