McCain Campaign Manager: We Do Hire Lobbyists

Last night, Rick Davis, the campaign manager for Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., gave CBS News' Katie Couric a confusing answer to a question about lobbyists working for the campaign.

"How many lobbyists work here?" Couric asked from McCain HQ.

"We don't make it a litmus test for employment at the McCain campaign," Davis said. "It goes without saying that some people who are involved in the lobbying profession do it because they are interested in that side of the equation. They're interested in government, they're interested in Congress, they're interested in public service."

So that they hire lobbyists is a big shocker? Nope! They are getting huge oil dollars from the money we are squeezing out of our budgets for gas. They without shame lie and then tell the lies again on MSM over and over and over. MSM in the confusion to not blast a "hero" for lying forget that the "hero" years were before the Senator years and his senator years are full of other bad deeds no one in MSM wants to write/speak about. Keating 5, what's that? The many no or didn't bother to vote, bills for the vets who knows about them? The many votes or don't bother votes againest women and our rights, who cares or knows? Yeah the McCain machine is chopping up Obama and lying with their laughs and chuckles all the way to the polls while MSM smiles and laughs along with them.After the last 8 years of the stink in the oval you would think the MSM would want to clean out the place and be less intimidated. I guess they are too afraid of being kicked off the plane or bus to have anything to do with the truth.

Okay, let me understand this. McCain states that he will not accept any one on his team that lobbies for any one or anything and that they can not receive pay for such activity. Yet now the campaign states that lobbiest on McCains staff can not advise on areas in which they lobby for. Talking about double and tripple speak. I wonder if McCain feels he is running out of corners in his mouth to speak from.
