I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Mccain

Wall Street Journal columnist Daniel Henninger looks at John McCain's tax policy and concludes, "This isn't a flip-flop. It's a sex-change operation." He continues:

What I'm asking is, does John McCain have the mental focus, the intellectual discipline, to avoid being out-slicked by Barack Obama, if he isn't abandoned by his own voters?

...

Why as well shouldn't the Obama camp exploit all of this? If Sen. Obama's "inexperience" is Mr. McCain's ace in the hole, why not trump that by asking, "Does Sen. McCain know his own mind?"

...

Yes, Sen. McCain has honor and country. Another month of illogical, impolitic remarks and Sen. McCain will erase even that. Absent a coherent message for voters, he will be one-on-one with Barack Obama in the fall. He will lose.

The Chicago Tribune's Frank James comments: "More evidence that Sen. John McCain is giving fits to many conservatives, like those who comprise The Wall Street Journal's editorial board: they're asking aloud if he's stupid."

George W. Bush has already proven that a person who is not very bright cannot be a successful President. Bush has failed as President because he is not intelligent enough to handle the job. If he becomes President, McCain will also fail, giving the US three consecutive failed presidential terms. Al Gore was smart enough. John Kerry was smart enough. Barack Obama is smart enough. John McCain isn't nearly smart enough.

I want to know why the question isn't: why isn't McCain ahead in the polls? After all, he is the well-know sweetheart Maverick darling of the press and POW "war hero". He has the name recognition. So why is he not ahead.

Will someone answer me why this question is not being asked - even though I know the answer already.

Think about it folks. It is called mind f'ng by the MSM

With 95 days to go, I'm wondering if they are trying to lose it so a Dem is left with their crap to clean up, so they can come back in 4 yrs and mess our country up some more.

I want to beleive that Obama is just sitting on all these mistakes to make the final blows later in this campaign. He has to be able to hit him over and over and over with all the stupid things Mccain does, he is just either way too nice, or biding his time.

After the FISA vote, I swore off donating to the Obama campaign. Well, I had to come to my senses and banged the credit card for a donation to Obama's campaign for the good of the country. It's do or die folks.

So, it takes a WSJ journalist to even bring up the subject of McCain's mental stability. It has been incredulous just watching the MSM avoiding the obvious and dancing around all the gaffes, flip flops and absurd statements (and retractions) of the last four months.

When McCain starts running subliminally racist ads, he's got to be losing it.

I remember 50 years ago, walking through Greenwich Village during a trip to New York and watched stunned as I saw a black man walking casually down the street with his arms around the shoulders of a blond woman. Having been brought up in Maryland, that scene was shocking to me. Now that I'm 70 and lived the rest of my life on the Left Coast, I'm fortunate that I am a much more understanding person. Too bad, many are still stuck where I was. And the McCain campaign wants to play on their "fears."

Here’s my take on the McCain “celebrity” ad against Obama, which is subliminally racist . . .

The image of two white blond bimbos with a black man – that’s the subliminal racist pitch.

Instead of using Britney Spears and Paris Hilton,
WHAT ABOUT USING

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie ?

Matt Damon and George Clooney ?

Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp ?

Tiger Woods and David Beckham ?

Tony Blair and Nicolas Sakozy ?

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Donald Trump ?

Oprah Winfrey and Hilary Clinton ?

Arguably, all of these are more famous world celebrities than Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.

GOT THE PICTURE ?

It's becoming clear that John McCain is not in control of his campaign anymore. Someone - if not the turn blossom itself - is calling the shots. And why, you ask, has he given in to this? What happened to the "Maverick Straight-talker?"

Alzheimer's.

There can be no other answer. Look at the readily apparent symptoms: the massive change of beliefs, the moodiness, the forgetfulness, even when constantly reminded, the falling asleep at functions.

The man is entering into pre-senility.

It's frightening. Do you want your grandfather answering that phone call at three a.m.

"Whhhaaaaat....?"

Learning and retaining new information. Does the person misplace objects and/or have trouble remembering appointments or recent conversations? Is the person repetitive in conversation?

Handling complex tasks. Do familiar activities like balancing a checkbook, cooking a meal, or other tasks that involve a complex train of thought, become increasingly difficult?

Ability to reason. Does the person find it difficult to respond appropriately to everyday problems, such as a flat tire? Does a previously well-adjusted person disregard rules of social conduct?

Spatial ability and orientation. Does driving and finding one's way in familiar surroundings become impossible? Does the person have problems recognizing familiar objects?

Language. Does the person have difficulty following or participating in conversations? Does the person have trouble finding the words to express what they want to say?

Behavior. Does the person seem more passive or less responsive than usual or more suspicious or irritable? Does the person have trouble paying attention?

If Murdoch's rag is attacking a Republican it's only because he wants to jerk the leash a little bit, make sure that McRove knows that Murdoch is actually in charge. A man from another country who has come into the U.S., and through corruption, intimidation and devotion to sex rags, has taken control of too much of our media. Beginning way back in the 1990s, when he paid Gingrich $600,000 as a supposed "book deal" for Gingrich to write some stupid historical novel, or some such trash. Of course what many suspected was really going on was that Murdoch was "rewarding" Gingrich for pushing through a law which allowed Murdoch to take control of even more of our media.

Murdoch's empire needs to be dissolved. If Murdoch is not stopped from taking control of all our media, pretty soon we will have reality slasher-shows on C-span. Instead of the lobbyist-produced infomercials that we have now. What a joke to turn on cspan and see the politicians mouthing the scripts written by the businesses who own them.

In the meantime, the Wall Street Journal should just give it up, starting putting the naked-breast photos on their front page like all the other trash Murdoch sells. If they are in any way criticizing McCain, it's because Murdoch wants something from McCain. Don't believe anything written in the WSJ.
