Bill Clinton In ABC News Interview: "I Am Not A Racist"

Former president Bill Clinton has been trying to keep his political opinions in check in order to turn back to his international work.

Still, he got a little testy in an interview Sunday with ABC's Kate Snow, telling her he is "not a racist" even as he avoided delving into specifics about what happened in the Democratic presidential primary. The interview, taped in a quick stop in Liberia, will air Monday on "Good Morning America."

Nobody thinks you are a racist Bubba. But we do know that you are willing to risk being thought a racist by exploiting the issue and playing to some people's racist leanings. You proved you will do anything to win an election, regardless of the negative effect on your opponent and ultimately, your party. That makes you something but certainly not a racist.

Don't you think accusing Bill Clinton, when Obama is flip-flopping on every issue like a dying fish, is hypocritical? Isn"t Obama doing "anything to win the election". Aren't you just condoning Obama's actions because you and his supporters think it would be "cool" and "historic" to have the first Black President of the United States to show the world the United States has transcended racism? Obama's lack of experience and current display of poor judgement negates the reasons he became the 'first African-American presumptive nominee of a major political party."
The fact that Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton have survived attacks from the Republicans, and even their own Democratic party, and are still strong forces in politics in spite of all of this makes me want them even more as the team to clean up after George W. Bush and his mess. The terms, "racist", and "Bubba" are disrespectful nicknames for someone who remains the only successful two-term Democratic President in my lifetime.

I wonder what the people from other countries would say to this question put to him by the American republican owned msm? The only thing that I saw happen during this campaign season was the people that were for O and against the other candidates actually believed the msm spin on him. If you are a dem supporter, no matter what candidate, you do realize just like I do, that they were going to spin anything out of his mouth or from H's camp, right? O is now the number one so lets take a deep breath and get back to being just dem supporters. If O can leave the country in as good a shape as he did then we can make some comparisons on style and effort. The time hasn't gone by yet and O hasn't done anything yet and as a matter of fact he isn't even in the chair so lets wait and see. My first chance to vote was in the late sixty's and he has been the best president in my life time and a lot of people would agree that he was the best president in a hundred years.
