Hillary Clinton Used In GOP Attack Ad Against Obama

Hillary Clinton has made her way into a Republican Party attack ad, her words condemning Barack Obama taken entirely out of context to suggest that she was somehow criticizing his energy plan.

The Ohio GOP has a new web ad out, a minute and a half in length, that regurgitates the argument that the Illinois Democrat has no policy prescription for gas prices other than encouraging voters to inflate their tires. The only thing notable about the spot (which touts such specific John McCain proposals as "address climate change" and "promote energy efficiency") is that it pits the former first lady against the primary opponent she now endorses.

"Shame on you, Barack Obama," Clinton is shown saying -- a now famous clip from when she ripped the Illinois Democrat for sending out attack mailers on her position on NAFTA and health care. The Buckeye state's popular governor, Ted Strickland nods his head in the background.

I do find it interesting that all of the candidates, except Senator Obama are acting like they are actors in a soap opera. They are really unable to focus on issues and even when it appears that they are, it is only in yet another manipulative maneuver where truth is obscured. How sad is our so called nation, where politicians, media and the citizenry cannot honestly communicate. Everyone is trying to sell something, most of which is not needed and not helpful. The Republican party has become nothing but a constant ad campaign to sell rotten products for exhorbitant amounts. The Democrats are struggling to figure out how to defeat such a successful strategy. Much of the citizenry is focused on image rather than on accomplishment. Much of the media is focused on entertainment instead of education and honest observation. Obama is a breath of fresh air. But, will enough people be ready for good nutritious air or have too many people gotten used to the pollution?

Yeah, HIllary should have either dropped out immediately after Obama announced he was running or never criticized her opponent in a race. For that matter, no other democratic casndidate should have pointed out any weakeness because it is not fair for any opponents in any nomination race to talk about experience or policies that may detract from whomever becomes the nominee because the other party may use those words against the eventual winner of the nomination. And while we are at it we should all be billionaires.

The Clintons are sophisticated Campaign operatives and KNEW they were laying the foundation for a triangulation strategy against Barack Obama, during the final month of her "Campaign" her own fundraisers stopped paying her bills. During that period she validated Senator McCain in lieu of Senator Obama -- all soundbites for the Fall -- they KNEW. Their AMBITION and DEALS know no bounds and this is a SLAP against not only Senator Obama -- the Democratic Nominee, but of Democratic VOTERS who desperately want CHANGE and have made our choice.

Certainly it should come as no surprise that ads would feature her outbursts. There will be more coming, since she had lots of people saying those things with her - like Ed Rendell. There is at least one clip of his that would make a wonderful attack ad.

I have to say that even though this ad, as far as content goes, is somewhat along the same nasty vein as those of last week, it is so pathetically amateurish in how it's pasted together and poorly copied from the original material that it's actually laughable. I have a feeling that even McFuddyduddy's campaign people wouldn't have tacked on his "approval" message at the end of this one if it'd been allowed, because it's so embarrassingly bad. But then again you never know.
