McCain Takes Long Pause When Asked About Race (VIDEO)

The Jed Report catches John McCain taking a very long pause when asked why he accused Barack Obama of 'playing the race card' -- and what he was referring to when he said he'd fought for civil rights his entire life:

Progressive Accountability reports that when McCain finally did answer, he distorted his record.

I guess we can conclude the cat has his tongue or he got a serious case of laryngitis. He should have kept his mouth shut, because just as soon as he opened it there was nothing but lies coming out of his mouth. I guess his go to guy couldn't whisper in McClueless ear. The funniest part of this video is that prior to the beginning of this town hall, McCain's people told the only black reporter he could not attend the event. I guess he didn't want to risk getting asked any questions about minorities. I am glad it worked out the way it did.

Tallahassee Democrat senior writer Stephen Price was singled outand asked to leave the area reserved for media at a rally for John McCain in Panama City, Florida, on Friday. He had showed his media credentials and employee i.d. in order to enter the area when a member of McCain's security detail asked him to leave.

"I explained I was with the state press, but the Secret Service man said that didn't matter and that I would have to go," Price said.

When another reporter asked why Price was being removed, she too was led out of the area. Other state reporters remained.

age isn't what concerns be about the very pregnant pause, in this clip, the question he was asked is what's really important, and the fact that he couldn't answer it, and when he was done searching for something to say his response was a complete and utter lie. that's what i care about.

McCain distorted his record. So what's new there? McCain constantly distorts his record. Doesn't he still try to take credit for the new GI Bill, the very same bill he opposed? Even Bush credited McCain for the GI Bill, one lies and the other swears to it! McCain is a life long racist. Those that know him can attest to that fact. I remember during Jeb Bush's first run for Governor of Florida, which he lost to Lawton Chiles if I recall correctly. Jeb was asked during a campaign stop what he would do for African Americans if he were to be elected. Jeb hardly missed a beat and said "nothing". He actually answered he would do "nothing." It was an honest answer, I'm sure he meant it. He lost the election. I think that was the Bush family's first experiment with the truth. They've never repeated it.
