John McCain has criticized Barack Obama supposed presumptuousness frequently. Last week, a McCain ad suggested Obama is styling himself the new Messiah. But who's really playing the God card? First McCain's campaign came out with this poster. Now he's telling Clinton voters that support him over Obama that they'll be thanked in the afterlife:

Also Thursday, McCain called Debra Bartoshevich, the Racine County resident who lost her delegate seat at the Democratic National Convention for endorsing McCain instead of Obama, a "person of great courage" for endorsing him.

"Perhaps your reward will be in heaven - not here on Earth," McCain told Bartoshevich as he addressed the Civic Centre crowd.

No word yet from God on what the prize will be.

And McCain calls Obama upity? Hmm that is so funny, looks like McCain is trying to walk in new territory.

Ah yes, now we're on the Obama is the anti-Christ meme, and anybody who votes against him will be rewarded in heaven.

He cannot feel too flattered, being her second choice. Doesn't he realize she would have voted for Howdy Doody to make her point?

"Perhaps your reward will be in heaven, not here on earth". TRASLATION: The statuw quo will remain; you will continue to pay 4.30 for gas, outrageous prices for food, you will lose your house, and we will have at least 2 more wars. Though luck, sucker!
So the little naive will have to wait for heaven to get things changed, and I am sure they will change, no Repug will be there..

All this sentimentality is so useless. Very emotional. Very irrelevant. Why doesn't he just have someone come up on the stage and start crying?

He's saving that for election night, after the returns come in.

All the Repubs will be crying---and crying, and crying some more.

Well, you remember how thrilled the Clinton supporters were with promises of a stay in the Lincoln bedroom. That was practically slumming compared to the accommodations McCain is offering.

So McCain believes there is no "earthly" reward for McCain supporters.

Sounds about right.

Perhaps McCain's reward won't.

It's just disgraceful. His whole rhetoric has become a disgrace. But he's getting away with it.

You're right. If the American voters are not careful, they will fall for the McCain campaign mud-slinging and will vote for another 4-years of Bush-type administration. I'm not sure we can withstand that!

McCain says that Obama has thin credentials - well McCain's campaign is the one that has no substance. He thinks it's funny to call a fellow senator; one who received vastly more votes during the primaries than he did, one who graduated at the top of his class in Harvard (when McCain graduated at the bottom of his) - he thinks it's humorous to equate that candidate with Brittany Spears and Paris Hilton. I think it is shameful and I hope Americans don't fall for it!

is that all you can do? You sound so desperate.
