Tyra Banks Dresses Up As Michelle Obama For Harper's Bazaar September Cover

Tyra Banks will dress up at Michelle Obama for the September cover of Harper's Bazaar, according to a Page Six report:

Tyra Banks - the mastermind of gimmicks - is at it again. Banks - who once had her breasts examined on TV to show everybody they were "real" - is now dressing up as Michelle Obama for the September cover of Harper's Bazaar. "It's a full makeover," said one spy. "You know how Tyra likes to do that stuff. And she'll get a lot of press off it." A rep for Banks didn't return calls.

Fashion magazines' September issues are historically their biggest and most important of the year.

This is not the first time this election cycle that Bazaar has gone political without the actual assistance of the candidates. In January, the Hearst-owned mag ran a spread called "The Politics of Fashion," featuring cardboard cutouts of the candidates.

Vanity Fair recently named Michelle Obama to its "International Best-Dressed List."

Prediction: this non-story will be flipped into an legitimized (rather than legitimate) story by an unholy alliance of Tyra Banks' people, Harper's Bazaar and the likes of Faux News.

With Michelle pretty much absent from public view, the wingnuts are aching to draw her out and ask her to say something angry. Because she's an 'angry black woman' obviously.

They'll doorstep her and ask her what her opinion of the cover is. If she says anything less than she is orgasmically delighted and flattered, they'll cut out a 3 second snippet to make out it made her snarky, disgruntled and peeved. Even if she does express unalloyed joy, that still might not be enough. Remember that her reputation as an 'angry black woman' in the first place is based on her saying she's proud of her country.

This is a strange alternate version of reality we are currently living in.

I've got a feeling Tyra is dumb like a fox. She parlayed a modeling career into multiple TV gigs and now makes more money than most of us here combined. In fact, she could give Michelle some lessons on how to get the average talk show viewer into thinking she's just one of them.

Thank u for that, Prisoner. When people call Paris Hilton dumb, I'm like, well look at her life next to your own life. She gets paid to party and wear beautiful designer clothes. So what if she got her start on inherited money - wish i had! i don't buy this whole bootstraps story everybody is supposed to have to be a "good person". She's living an exciting life.

Everything she does - write a book, pick out some fragrances for a perfume - turns to gold. This is the exact supermodel lifestyle she wanted, and that doesn't mean YOU have to want it. Its her life, her choice. And she's living it to the hilt.

So that's the definition of dumb, I suppose?
And not just dumb, but so incredibly dumb that everyone in the country uses her name as synonymous with the word stupid.

But she's so smart that she knows nothing makes more money than a pretty, "dumb", girl.

Tyra is not dumb...never was...She owns her own show (like Oprah--who gave her that advice) and she is making millions. She just cut several other television deals and she was nominated for an Emmyt earlier this year for her show. Do not mistake the content of her shows for the content of her brain. She has a target audience who love what she does. But the problem that arises is that she has to constantly feed the beast of success by always being better or at the very least shocking. I am not happy that she would pose as Michelle Obama...and I think she should have said thanks but no Thanks. Wonder why the magazine didn't find some one who looked for like Michelle.?Everybody wants a ride on the Obama coattails...Even people you would think don't need the ride!
