In what is surely one of the more bizarre wedding ceremonies we've ever seen, a British couple exchanged vows while standing on top of planes in mid-air. The activity, known as "wing walking," was turned into a wedding by having a priest stand backwards on the lead plane, while the bride and groom trailed a bit behind him on separate planes. The ceremony was broadcast to guests on the ground using a PA system. No telling what the happy couple has planned for the honeymoon.

Can't wait for their wing-walking divorce once the sponsorship deal has been sorted.

people who make comments like this should know the facts - it was a competition, no sponsorship? they were just happy to be able to do some crazy wedding - it's Guinot and the airfield that are benefiting from 'sponsorship' - so please don't make jokes about 'divorce' again, although its good to see that you have faith in marriage!

I'm reminded of one of George Carlin's routines:

"Why do they say get ON the airplane? Evel Knievel can get ON the airplane, I'm getting IN the airplane!'

That story was a lot cooler than the air-bag making fun of it.

The screenwriter of the British comedy "Confetti" should have thought about this... Endless possibilities, much better than the tennis wedding, which dragged the entire movie down...
