While many of the apps in Apple's (AAPL) iPhone App Store are useful, some are utter crap. And the latest, spotted by John Gruber, is an insult to all the well-meaning developers that Apple made wait/are still waiting to get into the iPhone developer program.

Not rich? Knit an iPhone. Or just be glad you're not being tracked by Big Brother, who by the way is making you into GPS performance art.

I'm using a pirated version of this app (a screenshot from the developer's site) as the wallpaper on my iPhone, and it really works!

Actually P.T. Barnum never actually said that or anything of the sort.
However, the point is true.

3 Rules for living:
1. Never eat at a place called Mom's.
2. Never play cards with a man called Pop.
3. A fool and his money are not only soon parted. They were lucky to get together in the first place.

How about iNeverDie ? Virtual immortality through a looping dialogue with images in unexciting mode which will make it more believable.

The guy who created this app has the right idea. The vain idle rich will find this extremely appealing. Its about being rich enough to drop $1000 for nothing. This app has a market. Have you ever worked with any of these hedge fund millionaires? They love this stuff.

A fool ... and his money ... and a nice juicy article in a major web-site ... I'll bet this guy has more-than-a-few $1,000 bills by now.

That is so lame. It's real too. Is there no quality control?

Ash Wholes

his name "Armin HeinRich" must have something to do with the "I am Rich" theme.

I bought this iPhone app, and the very next day I found $10,000 in a hat.

Does it come with a sales tax loophole?

Hmmm. Maybe I could sell an "Pay-No-Sales-Tax-On-Downloads-Ever! liscence" app to the unwary?
