Obama Ad: McCain's No "Original Maverick"

Yesterday, John McCain tried to reclaim his maverick title in an ad -- going so far as to say he was the original of the species. Today Barack Obama shoots back with an ad that quotes McCain agreeing with President Bush and ends with a picture of the two together.

"The original maverick? Or just more of the same?" the ad concludes. Watch it:

John McCain supports Bush's tax cuts for millionaires, but nothing for a hundred million households.

He's for billions in new oil company giveaways, while gas prices soar.

And for tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas.

The original maverick?

Or just more of the same?

I love this ad! This IS the politics of "Change"...you fight lies with TRUTH. Too many times have politicians resorted to fighting LIES WITH LIES. Obama is doing the RIGHT THING RIGHT!

Now I want to see how the MSM reacts to this ad, this isn't something they are used to. I bet they quickly come to the defense of John McCain by stating that BOTH of them are straying from the issues and that couldn't be farther from the truth. Barack Obama is and has always been focused on the issues. Let's see if they can't put their bias for McBush aside and call it how it is...THE TRUTH! Quit apologizing for John McBush and let up Obama be Obama!

That one isn't really a flip flop. It is merely placing all the blame for B'ush's destruction of the country on the hands of Bill C. Anyways, the second statement is correct, but the first is false. We are much worse off now than 8 years ago.
