Talking Points Memo:

It looks like John McCain won't be backing down from his campaign's attack on Barack Obama over tire pressure and energy conservation. At an appearance in Ohio just now, McCain mocked Obama for suggesting that people do such a thing as easily save money and energy by maintaining their cars.

"He's claiming putting air in your tires is the equivalent of new offshore drilling," McCain said. "That's not an energy plan, my friends -- that's a public service announcement."

The problem is that keeping your tires well-inflated is at least the equivalent of new offshore drilling in terms of how much money you'll spend on gas. In fact, as Time reported the other day, it could actually be better than new drilling -- if everyone did it we'd consume three percent less fuel, while drilling would only meet one percent of our needs.

He still can't remember Shiite from Sunni either, but the MSM doesn't report it - nor do they report most of his other gaffes. Every time I hear that the press loves Obama, I laugh - maybe it's better to be ignored. At least nobody sees you looking like an idiot every time you open your mouth.

He just learned how much a "box" of gasoline costs.

I'm starting to notice that the MSM is not exposing the gaffes that Mcforgetful is saying like the other day when asked about what he has done for the AA community his answer was silence and then wasnt sure what the question was because it had two parts to it.

Now he says tires being inflated is not useful, after it has been all over the news that it is important to maintain your car for better mileage.

Lets keep track and if I see or hear another gaffe the media doesnt point out I will post it here.

Here is the explanation:

The wrinkly, ugly, mean old man with yellow teeth can't remember that the other day he himself admitted that inflating tires to the right pressure is beneficial, quoting the American Automobile Association.

Mcc only proves Sen. O.b.ama's was right when he made the statement that "republi.cans take pride in being ig.norant". I'd also like to add that they take pride in promoting ig.norance too.

I laughed so hard at McCain's foolishness on the tire pressure issue that I went out and bought four new tires for my car. They are inflated properly, are safe, and buying them was another little step toward restoring economic prosperity. The nice guy with the dirty hands at the tire store had THREE tire pressure gauges in his shirt pocket. I guess he's no Republican.

When you have no viable policies of your own to give to the public, you attack you opponent and hope nobody notices.
