Angelina Jolie Endorsement Sought By Both Obama, McCain Campaigns

Wilshire and Washington:

It may seem as if most entertainment industry figures are aligning with Barack Obama and just a few with John McCain, but there are still a handful of famous names who are still on the fence. And both campaigns are well aware of one star who stands out among the undecideds: Angelina Jolie.

Both campaigns have reached out to her, apparently to court her support. But in a statement to Variety provided by political adviser Trevor Neilson, Jolie says that she is waiting to make up her mind.

HuffPo, make sure you let me know when Jolie decides who she's going to vote for so I can follow her lead. I'm such a huge fan that I'll let her sway my vote that will affect my life. PLEASE!!! Who cares who Angelina is voting for. The "celebrities" think they are so important and that people actually care what they think.

I am happy to report that while we are waiting for Jolie to tell us for whom we should vote... Billy Mays of OxiClean fame has come out with his endorsement:

"Billy Mays here with a new great product!!!!! Here are years of ground in political grunge... ruining your view of the American dream!!!! Now with Poli-clear, you can see the dream for yourself!!!!! Just a quick trip to the voting booth, a check next to Obama... and the dream is yours!!!!!!!!!!" (As he wipes the cloudly film off the camera lens so we can see him clearly)

Meanwhile, Neve Cambell has released a comment through her own Political Advisor that she will be bringing her dog to one of the McCain and Obama debates; will be letting the dog loose and which-ever person he sniffs first will get her vote.

I highly doubt she'll vote for McCain, she's probably already decided on voting for Obama. But she's portraying as if she's still undecided because she knows how most Americans feel about celebrity endorsements, and she doesn't want to be perceived as just another Hollywood celebrity jumping on the Obama bandwagon.

Her endorsement is weightless with educated knowledgeable voters, but don't pretend that many Americans don't look up to these people. Also she is not just an actress she is a humanitarian who has had audience with some of the most powerful people in the world. While I am not going to defend them wanting her endorsement. I think you are being silly. Mickey Mouse, you could have said Miley Cyrus or something a little more comparable. Who cares what you think, what have you done to merit a valid opinion?
