President Bush Not So Good With American Flags

So, apparently, even after seven years, President George W. Bush still hasn't learned how to correctly display the American flag. Glorious. We still have to pay him a salary, out of our stimulus packages, apparently.

It's times like this that you just sort of have to say, "Know what? On second thought, Mr. President, please don't make an effort to resolve the crisis in Georgia, okay? I think we'll all be better off."

One could argue that the flag was in the correct position to be viewed, by Bush that is.

Kind of a way of summing up the fact that Bush could care less about how other people view things, all that matters is his perspective!

Which is the "Federal Flag Code Amendment Act of 2007" Note - GW was in office during 2007 (unfortunately!) Go to the page and scroll down to (i), you will see this...

"(i) When displayed either horizontally or vertically against a wall, the union should be uppermost and to the flag's own right, that is, to the observer's left. When displayed in a window, the flag should be displayed in the same way, with the union or blue field to the left of the observer in the street."

Which means the the field of blue should be to the upper left when observed - therefore if Bush is holding up the flag to show the rest of the world, he needs to turn it around so the field is on his (and the flag's) right!
