Campaign AdWatch: Hot White Women Like Obama (VIDEO)

Just when you thought the real world concerns coming out of Eastern Europe might send the Presidential campaign winging back in a more adult direction, John McCain hangs out his douchenozzle flag again, returning to his juvenile "Celebrity" meme. He'd have been wise to drop this theme, since the Obama campaign's decision to try to mine the same territory was the "Celebrity" attack's definitive shark-jumping moment. I guess the McCain camp just couldn't resist adding a Surge of race-card jujitsu for spice -- this new, painful, offering practically begs the Obama camp to draw the obvious "Harold, call me!" comparison.

I just wish someone, anyone in MSM, besides Keith, calls him out on his excessive lying and the excessive use of young white women swooning over 0 in his ads. Fear, lies, race that's what the Republicans are going for and it will work unless 0 aggressively goes on the offense with positivity and counter punches ads like these with fact based rebuttals.

I hope that the McCain camp reads these comments. So I would tell McCain I ashamed that a man I had respect for at one time has lowered his standards to get elected. I find the ad very insulting to average people. We are not your millionaire friends who cheat to get to the top. I find you try hurting people in the middle to lower middle class and the poor. You can't even play fair you have to cheat from the Clinton camp. You were once in the military but somewhere along the line you lost your honor in order to win. I ashamed you can't even support the troops. You have no clue. You grew up living a life of privilege. While I grew up on military bases living in the enlisted quarters. My father was a hero who got shot up his leg with a machine gun during WWII. He retired and raised a family of 6 children never asking for any hand outs. You on the other hands left your first wife for the second wife who was a millionaire.

O's new ad talks about how old jobs can become new again with new green technology.
I suppose you could attack your opponent's popularity instead of talking about jobs people lost in this tough economy and how we could get those jobs back.

Republicans like to claim these ads are humorous and they seem to think they are a part of some highly sophisticated sense of humor that liberals and democrats don't seem to possess (according to their logic). Just as a side note, I'd like to thank conservatives for poisoning the swimming relay last night.

I'm feeling good, watching the swimming with my (grown) daughter, and this NASTY INCOHERENT MESS shoots out of a McCain ad and knocks us down a few pegs.

God forbid we should go twenty minutes without John McCain sneering at us, and telling us how stupid we are.

13 pages of posts on this one so far so there must be a whole lot of people who agree this ad was like it was blended up and spat out like bad split pea soup on the exorcist..­.Oh I forgot the GOP as their very own exorcists Bobby Jindal!!! Who ever put this together missed sending a message that was coherent or at least made sense. The writers must be drinking some bad juice to think this will sway anyne to think Obama is a celeb. The very idea that Obama has family and can vacation in Hawaii during the race must chap the old man's hide when he has hit every cheap joint and biker rally he can as hard as he can just to try to keep up. He may have multiple homes and money enough to buy one in Hawaii but he doesn't have the opportunity to slow down and take a vacation as he would risk whatever chance he has at his oval office. No matter what crisis we are going through, The Maverick has just the attack ad for O's popularity. At some point, The Maverick will wish he spent more time telling the American people who he differs from W.

Mike Murphy says The Maverick is going to have start making the case for himself. He is going to mess around and allow O to define him.

For the most part, Americans really don't know a great deal about The Maverick.

He eventually responded by stating he fought for the MLK Holiday. Now you and I both know he went to Atlanta in April and apologized for opposing the holiday.
