LOS ANGELES (AP) _ Ed McMahon is being sued by another creditor. Westmoore Lending of Huntington Beach, Calif., sued McMahon for more than $275,000 it says the pitchman and former "Tonight Show" sidekick owes from a 2006 loan.

A growing number of creditors say McMahon and his wife Pamela owe them money. The other actions have targeted debts incurred for the couple's Beverly Hills home, prescription drugs, credit card debt and attorneys' fees for his daughter's divorce.

The lawsuit filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court does not specify what the McMahons borrowed the money for, but claims they defaulted on the loan in early 2007.

A spokesman for McMahon said Monday that he hadn't seen the lawsuit yet.

Sounds like somebody needs to win the Publishers Clearinghouse Sweepstakes!

Keeping his young wife must have been a tad more expensive than he thought. Well Ed, hope you enjoyed it and got what you paid for.

maybe Ed's creditors should sue themselves for not properly confirming that he would be able to repay their loans.

Yes. I'm blaming them for loaning the money in the first place.

He is estimated to have made $220 million in his life and now he is broke. Limited sympathies for him as far as I am concerned. Where did it all go Ed?

Its good to see that I'm not the only one with credit problems....did he think that these people were just going to go away because he became the poster child for wealthy foreclosure?? If anything, he just added fuel to the fire....this guy as made millions upon millions of dollars and has what to show for it?? I don't feel any more sorry for him than I do Jose Canseco....at least Canseco earned his money through his talent (even if it was chemically altered).....McMahon just sponged off of somebody that actually had talent!

Ahh leave Ed alone. He is just an old dude that spent his millions on his much younger wife. Believe me this guy is not broke. He has a pension and social security...which these creditors can't touch. So old Eddy boy may have to move to a much smaller mansion.

No doubt. That'd be the first guy I'd fire. Heck, nobody cares what he has to say.

If you live long enough you may get to see how Karma exacts it's revenge. He has come full circle from praying on poor people to now finish his life in misery. I'm glad my mom got to see her prayers answered.

Ed preyed on poor people? I really didn't know.

They can sue him until they are blue in the face and will never collect a penny from the freeloading layabout. He is bound to be judgement proof by now--just like the roofer was that ruined my roof. You can't get blood from a turnip or money from somebody that ain't got any or at least can somehow "show" that he ain't got any.

When I was a kid, he was known as being one of the richest men in show business ... even richer than Johnny Carson. I know it's just another story of a man who couldn't be bothered to keep track of his own finances, but he's lookin' not smart to the nth degree. His wealth should be ginormous by now ... even in a Christmas club account. Not a good role model for Britney

Ed can't afford plastic surgery. He's gonna have to make due with duct tape and spackle.

I'm not going to open that envelope Ed sent with the $10 million in it. He needs it more than I do.
