Huckabee On McCain Cabinet Post: "Why Would I Want To Do That?"

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee may be the only presidential candidate to come out of the campaign with more than what he went in with.

Huckabee quietly taped a pilot in New York for a weekend cable TV show that is set to debut on Fox News Channel sometime this fall. ...

And what if Sen. John McCain wins in November? Would he take a cabinet post if offered?

"Why would I want to do that?" Huckabee says.

"I'm gonna have a good life out here in the private sector," he says. "Why would I go back to telling everybody in the world how much money I make and . . . barely surviving to have some obscure cabinet post and have some 20-year-old from the White House telling me what I'm gonna do?"

I disagree with pretty much every policy that Huckabee has...but I gotta admit, I LOVE watching the guy speak and give interviews. He may be an extreme nutjob (IMO), but he is hilarious and extremely intelligent.

This man proves to me that a lot of "preachers" just use that as a stepping stone to better paying jobs. So much for his "deep religious faith" It was a scam to make money, until the big payoff came around. Why do so many of them turn to politics, well THAT is where the real money is.
