Britney Spears

Britney Spears gave OK! magazine her first candid interview in two years (possibly for $1 million). Here's what the comeback pop princess had to say:

On not wanting her sons, Jayden and Preston, to pursue a career in the entertainment business:
"I'd rather not. But but I'd love them unconditionally if they wanted to. I'd just as soon they have a more normal childhood."

On younger sister Jamie Lynn's recent pregnancy:
"I was shocked a little bit. She's always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling."

On wanting her boys to be close to her newborn niece:
"I'm sure the boys will be like big brothers to Maddie."

On her new album hitting stores in six to nine months:
"I think it is more urban. I'm writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room... This is my best work ever."

Her father, Jamie Spears, was also present during the interviewing, sharing how Britney is capable of being manipulative to get her way: "It's wonderful. (The relationship) is new for both of us. She sometimes calls me 50 times a day and asks me things that light my life up. But like all daughters, she is very manipulative and cunning. So she gets what she wants a lot... God has a way of taking something bad and turning it into something good. If this hadn't happened, I would never have been able to get back with my daughter and have this relationship I have with these two little boys."

They are such cute little kids and deserve a good childhood free from media and craziness. I hope Brittney can keep herself clean for their sake if not for her own.

Some of the replies are pathetically ignorant and the epitome of stupidity. It's so sad to see that some people replying are the product of successful media brainwashing whose purpose seems to be drawing attention from the problems here in the US and the world that need people's attention.

What business is it of yours to demonize and criticize what another human being you don't even know, by regurgitating media bullshit no less.

The replies on this article by some of you explain the stupidity and ignorance of the replies on other articles on HuffPost about domestic and world events. It seems you all spend your time reading about celebrities while the US and world economies disintegrate around you.

I agree. Give her a chance. Looks to me like she's finally growing up. And rising up to the challenge.

Good for Britney!

Possibly 1 million dollars...Its all hype for both the Mags and whomever is telling the story. Probably given a free lunch and 2 martinis. Same with all the PuP (Knocked up ) stories. Show us the check...and then we might believe. But even thats doubtful.

If you want them to have a normal childhood, you need to provide them with a normal "motherhood"; and good luck with that, Brit... hasn't worked out so far, has it?

"It was mind-boggling"

That mind couldn't be too hard to boggle.

I think she has never looked so good as in this picture. The bright smile of a proud mother! People should give her a chance! She was an inspiration to many young girls when they were growing up. It would be a real tragedy to see her go on the wrong path. I am very happy to see her this way and see her picking up confidence again.
Leave her and her kids alone!

I suggest you give them up for adoption--and put them in clothes normal kids wear! With you out of the picture-they have a slim chance of being "normal"!!

Sorry Brit, as long as you are in the picture, your kids will not know normal.

No sudden moves. Put the boy down slowly. Keep your hands in the air, and quietly walk, dont run, towards the nearest exit.

Want them to have normal childhoods? Then stay away from OK! magazine.

She looks lovely, healthy and happy, I wish her all the best. And stay away from vultures like Sam Lutfi.
