Jerome Corsi, 'Obama Nation' Author, Set To Appear On White Supremacist Radio Show

So, on last night's Larry King Live, one of the things that Paul Waldman brought up as a way of demonstrating Obama Nation author Jerome Corsi's lack of credibility was his past embrace of bigotry and general scumbaggery, as documented by "a whole series of bigoted and hateful posts" that Corsi "put up on right-wing Web sites." None of which Corsi denied! But, Corsi defended himself by shooting back that Waldman had failed to mention "all my apologies for those statements."

Well, like just about everything else that dribbles out of Corsi's cakehole, you can take those apologies and discount them entirely, because this Sunday, he is set to make an appearance on the well-named "The Political Cesspool" - which, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, is "an overtly racist, anti-Semitic radio show hosted by self-avowed white nationalist James Edwards." In the past, the show has welcomed some marquee names in the hate movement, including "Christian Identity pastor Pete Peters, Holocaust denier Mark Weber and former Klan boss David Duke."

UPDATE: Sam Stein reports that he has received an email from Winston Smith, confirming Corsi's appearance on the show. Smith's email reads as follows: "Dr. Corsi's first appearance on our broadcast was very well received. On Sunday's show he'll be talking about his new book about Barak [sic] Hussein Obama. It'll be a fascinating converstaion [sic], and we hope you'll listen in."

Paul Waldman is right. How DO we know Mr. Corsi isn't still posting his bigoted screeds anonymously on right-wing blogs. After all, we only have his word for it that he isn't. He doesn't seem very credible.

It may be possible to feed some current posts into a program that detects similarities to what he posted anonymously several years ago. He seems just the type to try to get away with it. Busting him on it would be sweet.

I'm glad someone else thinks that way. I was never fooled by him for one second. I wouldn't doubt it was his idea for Clinton to have Ricky Ray Rector executed back in '92 so that he could appease the "Reagan Democrats" and show that he was not as sympathetic to the plight of African-Americans as he appeared to be. It concerns me that this guy is being given such broad coverage by the mainstream media, which merely legitimizes him and his cohorts. I've been watching CNN all day and this book is getting minimal coverage. I have a feeling the MSM is truly scared of repeating the mistakes they made with "Swiftboat" coverage.

I've heard rumors about this guy from my conspiracy theory pals. They say he's a well connected (CIA black ops) agent provocateur. His endorsing the 9/11 truth movement is supposedly a disinformation campaign: by endorsing the movement he is supposed to discredit it by association.

Being tied to David Duke is always a negative association.

The book isn't meant to sow doubt about Obama as much as it's meant to solidify the idea that 9/11 being an inside job is a theory only fit for wack jobs.
