Gwen Stefani Gives Birth To Second Child

LOS ANGELES — It's Love, Angel, Music, and Baby No. 2 for Gwen Stefani, who on Thursday gave birth to a boy. Zuma Nesta Rock weighed 8 pounds and 5 ounces when he was born Thursday afternoon, according to publicist Dave Tomberlin.

"Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy," he said in a statement.

The pop star and fashionista already has one son, Kingston, with her husband, rocker Gavin Rossdale. Rossdale also has a teenage daughter with fashion designer Pearl Lowe.

Stefani has racked up numerous hits and best-selling albums over the years, not only as a solo artist, but as the front woman for the band No Doubt. But the 38-year-old has also become a successful designer with her L.A.M.B. and other clothing lines.

Her last album, "The Sweet Escape," was released in 2006, a follow-up to 2004's multiplatinum "Love. Angel. Music. Baby."

Zuma Nesta Rock. What's the point? I sometimes feel famous people are still trying to entertain the public when they name their kids. Zuma Rossdale. I think Zumo might have been a better choice.

The couple claims they didn't know the sex of the baby ahead of time. Now I understand why they chose such a strange name -- Zuma Nesta Rock -- they could have used it for a baby girl as well!

I'm assuming the kid is named after Zuma Beach near L.A.? The joke is, in trying to be original in their name choice, the couple were anything but.
