McCain's Lobbyists, The Draft, And Dungeons And Dragons On Crappy Hour

This morning, I had the opportunity to join one of my favorite writers and thinkers, Megan Carpentier, for Jezebel.com's daily feature, Crappy Hour, thus crossing yet another item off of my bucket list! On the docket for today's discussion: McCain's affection for the lobbyists he terms "birds of prey," reinstating the draft, and Dungeons and Dragons. I'm already chuffed at one commenter's great conclusion: "If lobbyists are peregrines then McCain is 'The Falconer.'" Megan and I will have another chat at some ungodly hour of tomorrow morning as well, and she has graciously agreed to return the favor next week, filling in for Ana Marie as we vlog from the Democratic National Convention in Denver.
