23/6: If John Edwards And His (Alleged) Love Child IM'd

Poor John Edwards. He made his big statement last Friday, finally admitting to America his affair with Rielle Hunter, a woman who has on more than one occasion said to a hair-dresser, "Just make me look like Judith Light from 'Who's the Boss?'" Now his political career is in the toilet, and he's beating himself up so bad that no one else can even get a shot in.

But there's still the matter of that baby. Edwards claims that he is not the father of Rielle Hunter's five-month old daughter, Frances Quinn. If so, why did he visit Rielle and her baby at their hotel room in the middle of the night? There's clearly something going on between Edwards and that kid. If only they could talk this stuff out, perhaps via a nice, nurturing Daddy-Daughter IM...
