Fox News' Griff Jenkins got into a bit of trouble when he walked into a group of protesters in Denver who were clearly not fans of the Murdoch-owned network. (h/t Politico)

Did you catch the FOX intern yelling at them, "Do you not believe in freedom? Do you not believe in freedom?"

The commentors on Politico don't seem to get it that these kids are protesting the Dems & are not Dems themselves. Even the FOX intern picked up on that.

I think Fox will run with this as part of their ongoing propaganda campaign and it isn't the face I would have chosen to show. That being said, the protesters had the right to be there and they are under no obligation to be polite. Freedom of speech also includes the right to choose with whom you speak. The fact that many wouldn't talk to Fox does not necessarily indicate contempt for freedom of speech only contempt for Fox which is well deserved. And a reminder to Fox: This country was founded by people who refused to behave themselves. Boston Tea Party anyone?

This is to caricature all protesters against the occupation of Iraq, etc. as irrational and confused. The Fox fellow acted as a provocateur by getting into that crowd with that patronizing attitude. Not that these small anarchist groups are representative of the popular opposition to the occupation of Iraq and the mismanagement of the country by the Republicans and their patron$.

I would've loved to been there. Delicate flower Hannity should've been there also.

Freedom of speech? Only when it's the speech you want to hear!

When you look at the tagline on the screen, "Leftist protesters", you can figure out pretty quickly WHY they don't care for Fox news much.

If I called conservative protesters "facist demonstrators" at a convention, they probably wouldn't care for me much either.

Exactly! If they think only "leftist" anti-Americans hate 'em, they are merely kidding themselves and trying to con their viewers.

not a valid comparison.

Leftist protesters would equal "right wing or rightist protesters.

Facist demonstrators would equal "communist protesters"

The protesters ARE leftist correct?

I agree, excellent post, I noticed the "leftist" liner note as well, lol. As if leftist had bad connotations or something.

They cetainatly aren't "moderate" protesters.

They seem to be a product of the DailyKooks and MoveOn.org.

Conservatives protesters, if you can find some, are usually peaceful and even though they have a contempt for the media, you won't see them saying "F**k MSNBC.

Why is mentioning their political persuasion insulting? I wouldn't mind being called a conservative protestor.

My husband just turned on Fox Opinion Network when I told him what I had just watched here. I died of laughter when some talking head was talking about the election and he actually said "and that the Republican convention is falling around 9/11! I have been waiting for that catch phrase to get started. Doesn't their Repugnican spectacle end at least an entire week before that scary date?
9/11,9/11,9/11
As Joe Biden said, a noun, a verb and 9/11!!!

Guiliani is the key note speaker so obviously they are going to use 9/11 a lot.

They should chant something regarding O'Reilly's sexual harassment suit over and over so they can't use it on Fox News. Same thing when O'Reilly's producer chases someone at their home or business. There was a guy who did the same thing in O'Reilly's driveway when he came out to get the paper and put in on the web. Bill did not seem to appreciate it. I don't know why.
