Hope their ratings go down the toilet.

I'm sorry, but 23% of 300 million is a big number (of idiots in the USA), and that's the number of people who watches Faux news.

WELL ITS ABOUT FREAKING TIME!!!!

I still don't get why more people don't get it...don't like Drudge Report? STOP HITTING HIS URL!!! I would bet that over 1/2 of Drudge's hits are from opponents.

Don't like Fox? QUIT PLAYING THEIR GAMES!!! I wish every single person with a functioning brain (as opposed to a Fox-fan) would do this. Quit arguing with children, they don't argue. Just ignore them. Just get them to leave. Quit talking to them. Quit feeding them. Absolutely anything those protestors would have said would have been turned against them (hell, they had things they DIDN'T say turned against them...freedom of speech, god these people are dumb...the Fox-fans I mean, Fox is obviously pretty smart, identifying those brainless tools and playing them for years and years...) so why even bother? We could have had a 10 minute clip of "hate America" and "far left" but instead we got 3 minutes of them looking just like what they are: tools.

Bravo!!!

It's ironic (and a little disturbing) that Faux News interprets free speech as *requiring* people to answer questions from (alleged) journalists. It's also quite telling that Faux News completely ignores the 'free of association' aspect of free speech, which includes the right of an individual to choose NOT to associate with anyone they don't want to.

F*ck Faux, indeed.

I dont understand why Truth in Advertising laws don't preclude Fox from describing their programs as News. They don't meet the instant sniff test, much less any analysis of content.

One thing that strikes me as so idiotic about this is that the report is crying about freedom of speech because they don't want to talk to him. This is them using a Repug talking point about liberals wanting to supress there speech.

Doesn't freedom speech, in concept , also mean the right not to speak to somebody. i think these people knew that by talking to Faux News, their words would be twisted to Faux Newses favor.

To me this just points to Faux Newses egocentric views. Instead of wondering why people hate them so much, they would rather ridicule the people that don't believe what they believe.

But isn't it your guy BHO that said we should talk to our "enemies"? So why do your folks not talk to Fox when they have the opportunity?

Because they want to talk with Reporters who will accurately quote them, and not spin their comments. FOx news does not have the respect of these and many other folks! When they earn respect, they will be respected and communications will be a two-way conversation.

Yes, talk or what should be said is discuss the topics. The problem with faux news is that most of the time they do not talk. They shout over people who disagree, twist what is actually said, and or edit until what is said is out of context to what was actually meant. I believe that most do not want to talk to Faux because it gets to the point it is useless and a waste of time. Faux news agenda is very obvious and it does not look like it is going to change any time soon.

I think the same applies to the so called t0lls that come to sites like this. 99% of them want to stir up trouble and not discuss the issues. They throw out statements that are derisive and obusive to people on here. Rarely do they come with any points that are founded in truth. If their is some truth, it is usually twisted to support their wild claims.

We need to get back to being a nation that talks and works together.

I think you will find that L1berals do not want to restrict speech, they want the truth to be given the weight it deserves. Truth that is not muddied by opposing views that have no basis in truth.

You libs are hilarious. You've got NBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, CNN, and MSNBC in your pockets in addition to 95% of the newspapers in this country. And you whine about Fox News and AM radio.

Wanna trade? We'd make that deal any day.

Only in the eye of the beholder is NBC, CBS, PBS, CNN, AND MSNBC viewed as being in the pockets of "libs". NONE of the media giants have been as " honest and friendly" to Obama and his family as they have to McCain, his family and his lobbyists.

I'll trade you 100% of our non-existent 'media bias' for 100% of your hypocritical, aggrieved victim posture. You right-wingers sure are insecure for a bunch of privileged white people.

Sincerely,
Privileged White Person (with a soul)

I request documentary evidence of your claim.

To my mind most of the mainstream media is neither inclined to the Left nor Right. A few sources stand out on both sides to make a political point; but generally Reporters favour the Truth above all intentional political biases.

If the Truth has a liberal bias, it's not inherently proof of deliberate Liberal bias by the media so much as a side-effect.

Perhaps you can give an example of a truth that has a liberal bias. I have found that a fact and/or the truth are neither liberal nor conservative, but people can "fall" for an opinion disguised as a fact or the truth. An example is, "The Iraq war is Bush's war", which is neither a fact nor the truth.

The idea of the "liberal media" is a myth perpetrated and used to defend the inexcusibly unprofessional actions of people like Fox News.

We think you and yours are hilarious also.

From my point of view main stream media does not serve the people on either side well. If we truly use that as our only point of input we are all being played as fools.

Its no longer about the truth but the 5 secound sound bite. Its no longer about the facts with out bias. Its about the personality and the Pundit of the day.

"Its about the personality and the Pundit of the day."

You just now figured that out? Look at the Democrat ticket. It's backwards!! Obama/Biden. In any reality except this up-side down one we live in now, the ticket should be Biden/Obama.

Loved the vacuous introduction and commentary by the blonde made-up talking head.
Hilarious.
The reporter took an adversarial, condescending approach and he got a response that reflected that.

You are correct, he went into this as an adversary not a unbiased reporter. Tahts why we can not give them any ammunition. The right uses this tactic to get their viewers riled up and hating the left.

Yeah, Fox Noise has some people I like including Alan Colmes, and Beckel, and even Tanya Acker, but the rest of them, and maybe I'm forgetting some people, but for the most part, they are a joke, and not even real news at all.

These polls make me sick, because they don't interview millions of people, just hundreds, or maybe thousands, but the polls are for people who don't use their common sense at all, and please don't pay attention to them people, because news orgs like CNN, (who I am slowly losing respect for, with their constant airings of Amy Holmes, and Tara Wall, and not to mention Lisa Sanchez) are really caught up in nothing.

MSNBC is where it's at, and I will miss Dan Abrams, but Olbermann is the man, and with the additon of the the Scarborough killer-Rachel Maddow, I will definitely keep in contact with them.

One might argue that the protesters did voice their views.

One might also argue that Fox News, by not allowing to them to voice their views infringed on their 2nd amendment rights.

Apparently people from the "extreme left" of the democratic party, have some very strong views about Fox News.

Imagine that.

Er. Freedom of Speech is a part of the 1st Amendment.

The 2nd Amendment reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

I wish I knew the name of the logical fallacy on display here, because this is really an interesting construction: a person who refuses to talk to a reporter does not believe in freedom of speech.

Wow. That's like saying that just because I wouldn't hump Ann Coulter that I don't believe in procreation.

Mind-boggling.
