WOW! Michelle gave an awesome speech! And I LOVED hearing & seeing Obama speaking to his wife and daughters while he was in Kansas City. That was priceless!

For anyone who actually wants to see the convention and not just the talking heads, tune into PBS or TV1. MSNBC and CNN are doing us a major injustice.

Actually watching this online (especially MSNBC) is better when comparing this to what is on TV.

I thought the BET TV channel was going to cover this, but I'm not seeing that.

CNN was totally off for me (tv & online) I wanted to hear the speakers, instead CNN had their talking heads speaking with Anderson Cooper for instance when a speaker was on stage. I just don't watch CNN much anymore.. they've really changed (and not in a good way either)

I just wanted to add Teddy made an awesome appearance and speech (I watched it online here on MSNBC) . After he left they were playing a great song called "Celebrate". As I was listening to the song and watching the crowd, I was wishing I could be there,,, THEN right then, the camera showed a guy wearing a shirt with the State of Oregon on it! (where I am from) What a cool coincidence!

i've just moved and don't have cable as yet, so i "stuck" with PBS and very glad that i am. they do have their pundit moments, but not as intrusive or infuriating as what i imagine is going on over at cnn.

i'm pleased that huffpost has an straight msnbc stream here - at least from the few minutes i've seen it appears to be pundit free. i'm also hoping cspan online will also be helpful.

time was the entire three networks covered the conventions from gavel to gavel. they then decided that commercial money was far more important than the national election process. the unforgettable moments of huntley-brinkley or dan rather getting the crap beat out of him on the convention floor or watching the wonderful frank reynolds can no longer be repeated with their modern day network counterparts. gavel to gavel coverage got the nation focused on the importance of the election; now, it appears to be an afterthought.

the only criticism i might have is i think the delegates all need a triple expresso - i am hoping it is only the vastness of the hall that is not conveying the applause or shouting but thus far it seems so darn quiet, respectively speaking.

and btw, barack's sister was fantastic with a fantastic voice - what a great speech giver!

I teared up when hearing Michelle's mom speaking on the video, then Craig Robinson (her older brother who is the coach to the basketball Beavers team here at Oregon State's University ) Yea! GOOO Beavers!

How could Nancy even end up elected to a local school board? She is sooooo bad. I call myself a Democrat in spite of her and Harry. Hopefully the new order of Obama, etc will let us forget these bad times.
