his temper. Graduating at the bottom of his class and a less than mediocre service,
getting himself caught as a POW is impressive I see and we did not get enough of that
from the current one in charge.

Eleanor Roosevelt might be one wife of a president which Michelle reminds me of. I would see her more along the vien of caring and how is is reflected by someone in that position to speak to and for those in need. Michelle came from poor and had her student loans and with all of the brains she has she has gotten where she had a wonderful great job making money the same color green as ours. No one gave her anything to get her job and her education so why people don't like her is back I truly believe, to color. We have had so few women in any higher positions that would make the "everyone" of this country comfortabe with a woman of color potentially being in the white house with her husband and have something to say. When the common image we have in movies and in politics not showing that a woman of color isn't the maid or subserviant to someone else then we ight have a shift in our minds to having things change. It has only been the last five-ten years a black man could be shown in the White House or even in the Congress as people until then and even now still have issues with anyone but a white MAN.

I was disgusted by Cindy McCain's statement from the CNN special last week where after discussing McCain's adultry she basically said that "her husband" saw that she would be a good wife and good mother. What was his first wife, the mother of his three children? Good for you, but he had a good wife and a good mother. You happened to be 15 years younger and had a lot of money. BTW, why does she always say "my husband"? Do you ever hear her call him John? I haven't, always my husband. I love to know the real story about their relationship. No husband calls his wife the c word that has the slightest bit of respect for her.

I can't stand Bush. I have never liked him. But, I do like Laura, and I have come to like his children. I would compare Cindy to Barbara (so you remember that comment about how living in the Reliant Center was working out pretty well for those Katrina victims who survived drowning when her son ignored the situation in New Orleans.).

yeah..yeah­...I noticed this. She does call him "my husband". Know what else? She also says "I love my husband" ...she says it a lot. I can't recall anyone else....a first lady saying that....al­l the time.
It's not normal.
I watched her on the View...on Leno...I started paying attention.­...if asked a question about Johnny boy she always adds I love him..or..I love my husband.
Cindy strikes me as a person who has no problem telling a lie. It's second nature to her. I have the same feeling about their daughter Megan and of John.

I've always thought there's an interesting psychology behind that "my husband" habit of Cindy's. First of all the constant use of the possessive "my" is common among the entitled and perhaps she got into the habit of saying "husband" early on to remind herself that "she won," he's no longer the other wife's possession. It's something many people wouldn't think much about, but I find it creepy. Just as I find her cavelier attitude about the first Mrs. McCain (and the way she's also kind of co-opted that woman's children) as creepy. I guess we should be grateful she doesn't speak of herself in the third person the way sports stars do.
