Since it demonstrates that a few politicians have chosen to put family right up there with their career - and no one can say Joe hasn't proven that it can be done. He has not lost touch with the middle class like a heck of a lot of other members of Congress have.

His riding Amtrak is as relevant to leadership as a POW does to being Presidential material.

Being a POW may be a detriment in that it has solidified his desire to never walk away a "loser" not matter how wasteful the cause, has probably left his with a variety of mental unresolved issues and 5 years of relative inaction could not have helped his overall health either. His potential for livng through a presidency may be diminished, especially when you add to the fact that he has had about 4 melanomas which says to me cancer is lurking beneath the surface to attack again and excessive stress is certainly not good for anyone with that history.

riding the Amtrack and hearing conversations around you about the difficulties in life others onthe train surely talked about gave Biden a schooling of real life through the past 36 years few others who serve in Congress ever get as they spend far more time with lobbyists than constituents once elected.

As she was someone who taught in public schools and worked with emotionally disturbed teens, I imagine she is because that kind of teacher has to have special gifts to be successful­...BD kids see right through people who try to fake it and typically won't work for teachers with whom they do not establish an emotional connection.

I got to shake hands with Jill Biden and Joe Biden at a big fund raising event three years ago. It was black tie and in an evening dress she is a knockout and a super attractive woman. She seems to low profile her knock out good looks most of the time, as she is a modern woman, wanting to be known for what she does
professionally and for being there for those she cares about. She seems admirable, lovely, intelligent and all that we would want a Veep spouse to be.
