Joe's right. She is drop dead gorgeous. She clearly loves him as much as Michelle loves Barack, with a kind of joyous enthusiasm that has not been dampened by years of marriage. It's nice. Strong family bonds, strongly families ties, real family values.

Joe commutes home every night (just like the rest of us), sometimes the days are long but we make that long trip because it's home. We don't have seven homes and a private plane, our charge cards don't let us charge $750,000 a month like Cindy McCain, we have to take out 2nd mortgages and student loans to get ourselves and our kids through college just like Joe & Jill, and like Barack & Michelle.

And we don't have the amazing gall of folks like John McCain who own seven homes worth more than 15 million dollars who then complain that the Obama's own one home that they paid $600,000 for. The Obama's earned their money, John McCain married into his. Lot of work there John.

Jill Biden looks like a trophy wife (and I mean this in the most kind sense). She is beautiful and real. Joe is rightfully proud of her. No wonder that he commuted home every night from DC.

He commuted home every night to take care of his motherless sons, luckily he met a woman who married him and let him resume a happy family life. They seem like a real family, not like the McCain's long distance set up. Cindy only shows up to campaign.

Actually, I understand what Emmagoldmanbabe means and it's a comlpliment. The definition for "trophy wife" was originally applied to women who were second+ wives who represented the "whole package": smart, beautiful, accomplished, etc. It's since become the label for wives who are merely attractive and young-looking (and Cindy McCain does fit this bill).

Biden is a great guy. He caught my eye during the Clarence Thomas Confirmation Hearings. Senator Biden did not trust Thomas and was very clear that he believed Anita Hill. That is when I knew this is a just, bright and honest man.

I don't understand people who think like you do. If something were to happen to Obama, Biden would be our next POTUS. I definately consider who the VP choice is when I vote. And, I will happily be voting for Obama/Biden.
