I Like ItI Don’t Like It

In another ad appealing to Hillary Clinton supporters, John McCain says it's okay to vote Republican. Watch:

Transcript:

DEBRA BARTOSHEVICH: I'm a proud Hillary Clinton Democrat.

She had the experience and judgment to be President.

Now, in a first for me, I'm supporting a Republican, John McCain.

I respect his maverick and independent streak, and now he's the one with the experience and judgment.

A lot of Democrats will vote McCain. It's okay, really!

JOHN MCCAIN: I'm John McCain and I approved this message.

Debra Barstovich was a delegate at the Democratic Convention before she was ousted for openly supporting John McCain.

i would love to see an ad with hillary giving some reasons for the black sheep (pumas) to come home. and really mean it. and finish the ad telling mccain not to dare to quote her in his ads again. that would show some party unity we can believe in.
also i would love to see barack personally challenging mccain through an ad.

What did she say after this last McCain ad...I'm Hillary Clinton...and I did NOT approve that message. Love it.

She really is trying guys. The Pumas arent helping, Obama's staff isnt help, and the media who loves this "snub" story is doing everything to keep it alive.

I think she is going to have some strong words in her speech, hopefully it will help.

Stop with the caps -- in computer speak, in case you are not savvy, it means you are yelling. AND FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, READ YOUR POST BEFORE HITTING 'POST' to check for spelling errors. Sheesh!

Not sure why people use all caps. Sometimes it's because they can't see very well, the font is too small on their screen. On my PC if I hold down the Ctrl key and roll the mouse scroll at the same time, I can adjust the size of the font. You may want to give it a try. Just FYI.

AMEN ... you can say that again and again. Darn, I want to run an ad:

I am a Republican, and a guy told me to act like a Democrat and vote for his favorite candidate in the Democratic Primaries. I did. After that, in a first for me, another guy told me I should never vote for a Democrat again. I should be a Republican, support him and respect his honesty in the GE. It's okay, really. A lot of people like me did that.
I'm Veratruth and I'm crazy for thinking such nonsense.

YIKES !!!
"I respect his maverick and independent streak, and now he's the one with the experience and judgment"

No, ir'a nor all right!!

What exactly about his words and votes over the past couple years make you think he has an independent streak ........ they reveal him to be a carbon copy of GWB. What they reveal is that he will take many position for gather votes.

As to his judgement, what about his judgement leads you to believe he is preferable to Obama for a Democrat/Independent? He wants to obliterate the Roe vs Wade decision so that women can no longer make the very personal decision about whether they will have children. He thinks packing the Supreme Court with 100% Thomas~Scalia like justices is an important step forward.

This just doesn't pass the smell test ~ I suspect you have a lot of other "stuff" going on that allows you to sell out to McCain in exchange for a moment of fame and "payback. Sorry excuse for rational, criteria based thinking!

I'm a political junkie and have watched many campaigns, including JFK's, and I can't remember any losing candidate, or his/her supporters, ever making the kinds of demands the Clintons and her supporters have made. Usually, the winner is the winner and everybody else better get with the program or you don't get any goodies from the winner.

This was a very tight race and I understand the hurt from supporting an unsuccessful candidate but it is the way the world works. Someone wins, someone loses and you go on. I hope Hillary's people come over to Obama - it really is time to acknowledge that he is now the leader of the party and we need to support him. I don't think they should expect Obama to bow and scrape to them or apologize for winning, which is what some of them seem to want. He has been a gracious winner and she has been a gracious loser and the supporters of each should follow their examples.

Why doesn't she just say: "I supported Hillary Clinton. But now I'm voting for John McCain because he will make a complete mockery of everything she stands for and everything she's worked toward her whole life. Go to hell, Hillary!"

No! It's not alright!
It is completely stupid to abandon all of your principles because you feel unhappy about losing.
There is not very much daylight between HRC and BO's stands on issues.
However, Johnnie boy McCain is George W. Bush by another body and name.

A wisconsin delegate to the convention.
Has she been barred form the convention and the party?

HRC has to disassociate, denounce and condemn this person by name.

Indeed she has. Her delegate status was revoked on July 25...

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Leaders of Wisconsin's Democratic Party today unanimously took away a delegate seat at the Democratic National Convention from a Racine-area party leader who had promised to vote for Republican Sen. John McCain instead of Sen. Barack Obama. Debra Bartoshevich of Waterford had supported Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton for the Democratic nomination for president over Obama and said in June that she would not support the Illinois senator.

Her declaration embarrassed and surprised state party leaders and delegates to the state Democratic Party convention... in a conference call, a majority of the state Democratic Party's Administrative Committee voted to replace Bartoshevich with another party leader from the 1st Congressional District. Marilyn Nemeth, a retired educator and former board member of the Wisconsin Education Association Council, will replace Bartoshevich.

Could this poor lady have been USED secretly by a lone Democrat and now a lone Republican? Looks kinda like a scheme to me. But, I guess it is okay if she got paid by both schemers. hmmmmmm. Now if she would only vote for Obama. Should we make an offer? Just kidding.
