In another ad appealing to Hillary Clinton supporters, John McCain says it's okay to vote Republican. Watch:

Transcript:

DEBRA BARTOSHEVICH: I'm a proud Hillary Clinton Democrat.

She had the experience and judgment to be President.

Now, in a first for me, I'm supporting a Republican, John McCain.

I respect his maverick and independent streak, and now he's the one with the experience and judgment.

A lot of Democrats will vote McCain. It's okay, really!

JOHN MCCAIN: I'm John McCain and I approved this message.

Debra Barstovich was a delegate at the Democratic Convention before she was ousted for openly supporting John McCain.

And, why not run that video of McCain yucking it up laughing when one of his supporters referred to his beloved Hillary as that b-word up alongside your poor Hillary Obama didn't pick her attempts to stir up trouble? Why doesn't McCain pick her? He'll pick some little toad and you know it.

I wish they would start getting a little harder edged on their ads, but am guessing they are going to keep it as above board as possible and I am not sure if that isn't going to be a mistake.

Maybe Biden can answer back with some remarks. He seems to be good at that if he is careful.

I refuse to believe than anyone who supported Clinton's nomination would prefer McCain to Obama. No one on this planet is that stupid. If you are worried about women's issues do you really want another Scalia appointed to the Supreme Court and a president who does not believe in equal pay for equal work?

Believe it, that is what free will is all about. I am guessing this woman was a Republican to begin with because if she really votes for McCain she is condoning all that has gone on with the Republicans and Bush the last 8 years. It is sad to see someone so brain dead.

We got eight years of George W Bush and you don't think anyone "on this planet is that stupid"?

Look, I agree you'd have to BE stupid to think McCain won't just be a continuation of GWB and destroy the Supreme Court... but no one ever got rich overestimating the intelligence of the American people.

Unfortunately, Americans have been "dumbed down" since Ronald Reagan in an effort to keep a large working class. We as Amercians had it goin' on in the late sixties on the college campuses and supported Civil Rights and getting out of Vietnam, a war for profiteers. This is NOT the case now. If you raise any doubt in your country's President today, you are put in jail. That is the main reason Europeans love Barack, they are educated.

Well you'd better believe it. There have been too many signs to ignore it. If Hillary doesn't do something about this "Movement" she is going to have one hell of a time getting anywhere in politics or Obama's administration.

Another thought on "experience":
When I was in college I worked as a electronics department associate at a regional discount retailer (this was in the days before WalMart eliminated all competition). A competitive regional retailer that had been struggling for years, to the extent that even we lowly departmental employees were aware of it, finally went bankrupt. Unbelievably, our company's management fell all over themselves trying to scoop up the management staff of the failed company. When I asked an assistant manager why, he replied, "Well, they have a lot of management experience." To which I replied, "Yeah, they have a lot of experience driving a company into the ground!" Shortly thereafter I was transferred to the lowly housewares department. But, my point is, be careful what you wish for, you might get it. Except for Bush himself, the Bush Administration was full of experience and look what happened. McCain promises to be even worse. Sometimes all experience does is to blind you to necessary change.

The Clinton's continue to do so little to support Obama and this kind of Hillary support just feeds their egos. I think if Hillary had wanted to she would/could have done it with these women. But above all I truly believe that these women have fed themselves the bad weed they have ingested as they have to been seen for what they are opportunists looking for the fifteen minutes and unfortunately Mac will give it to them. These so called Hillary supporters cannot have really supported her expect for her being a woman. They have expanded in their own minds the wrongs done to Hillary and they reason for her loss. It had not one thing to do with Hillary being a female but everything to do with what woman she is.For these women it is just an excuse to make noise and if they love mac then vote for him. But the bottom line is anyone who has looked at Mccain's history of not supporting women or their rights will see that these women are just feeding themselves more bad weed and will pay dues for it if he wins. That any woman would support McCain knowingly is enough to make most ill that have bother to research Mccain anyway. Many too lazy to look back into history and accept Mccain for what he says deserves him and his lack of respect for women.

You are so right. All women have to do is look at how he treated his first wife and family. Cheated on her and left her crippled. Look at the names he's called his current wife (and offering her up in a Miss Buffalo Chip contest?). Look at his zero support for a woman's right to chose. Look at his healthcare plan that is even less of the same and relies more on the insurance industry. Look at how eager he was to send our children off to an unnecessary war. Look at how much closer HIllary's policies are to Obama's and it makes you wonder. C'mon people, time to come home.

Not to mention his intent to call for a DRAFT...this guy is angry and believes he is somehow entitled to be POTUS. What I'd like to see is his MENTAL health records. Why don't they load the truck(s) up with that.

Hillary Clinton would have made a fine nominee. She would have been a good president; potentially a great president. Obama is a fine nominee. He will be a good president, potentially a great president. John McCain would be a continuation of America's decline and failure. Most Clinton supporters will gladly vote for Obama. Those few that are seriously considering voting for McCain should look at the issues before making a foolish choice. Notice how the Debra Barstovich ad avoids issues.

Said it before, I'll say it again: If you voted or would have voted for Hillary Clinton because you believe in what she stands for, you cannot now vote for John McCain. The positions and goals of Clinton and McCain have very little in common, while the positions and goals of Clinton and Obama are almost identical. This Hillary Clinton cult of personality thing is getting old.

Neither Clinton or McCain have an experiential advantage over Obama. Hillary is a smart capable woman. But there's no getting around the fact that most of her adult life has been spent as First Lady to a multiple term governorship of a small southern state and then two terms as First Lady to the President of the United States. She has spent approximately 20 years of her life essentially as Hostess in Chief. Mere proximity to events does not translate into personal experience. And let's not forget that she is, in fact, the JUNIOR senator from New York. She has a mere 7 years in elected office for a state in which she never previously resided. Counting his time in the Illinois state senate Obama actually has more experience as an elected official. As for McCain, possibly he has more time invested in his political career but, my God, at what cost to us? He's shown himself to be remarkably uninformed and to exhibit bad judgement on almost every major issue of our time.

"Neither Clinton or McCain have an experiential advantage over Obama. "

This is exactly why the democrats will lose in November. You are trapped in your fantasies.

Barack is a community organizer with no executive experience, no military experience, 3 years in the US Congress and little to show for his 47 years.

McCain has been a military leader and has 25 years experience in the US congress with the democrats, including Joe Biden, validating his credentials to be President.

You talk about "trapped by fantasies", while you are trapped by your delusions! I don't care what experience O has.

This election will be decided on the fact that repubs have done everything wrong and nothing right. 80% of the country say we are on the wrong track. McSame wants to keep going. O doesn't have to do one thing except stop the train. We can't afford to go any farther in this direction.

Here's another analogy for your rush-addled brain:
We are in a deep hole, McSame wants to keep digging. Most of us don't care if it's O, or anybody else, we just want someone who will stop digging.

I question what this woman was really voting for... Clearly, she doesn't care about Clinton's stance on the major issues - which are much closer to O than McC.

So, I suspect the real message is:

"Really. It's ok to bite off your nose to spite your face!"

And I would guess no kids waiting to be drafted for all the new wars.

A Hillary Clinton Democrat is someone who apparently doesn't care if their sons die on foreign battlefields for wars that shouldn't be fought and daughters who will have to go back to the alleys and coat hangers to end unwanted pregnancies. Clearly, that is what they are going to get if they put John McCain in the White House.
