I Like ItI Don’t Like It

In another ad appealing to Hillary Clinton supporters, John McCain says it's okay to vote Republican. Watch:

Transcript:

DEBRA BARTOSHEVICH: I'm a proud Hillary Clinton Democrat.

She had the experience and judgment to be President.

Now, in a first for me, I'm supporting a Republican, John McCain.

I respect his maverick and independent streak, and now he's the one with the experience and judgment.

A lot of Democrats will vote McCain. It's okay, really!

JOHN MCCAIN: I'm John McCain and I approved this message.

Debra Barstovich was a delegate at the Democratic Convention before she was ousted for openly supporting John McCain.

It did after all get her that 15 minutes of fame. Not sure I'd want this kind of fame after Obama and the Dems swamp DC. Don't think her resume is going to get her through many doors. Loser.

It is ironic that all of these so called PUMA and other Hillary supporters (some of them republicans in disguise and some looking for any excuse not to vote for BO) are willing to toss everything away because their "candidate" of choice did not win the nomination. Do they really think there would have been such a Hillary lovefest with the Republicans if BO chose her for VP? Use your head people...think of the Supreme Court with its 4-1-4 makeup where many of the most recent decisions have been 5 to 4. With 2 or even 3 of the left leaning Justices indicating that they may be ready to retire. Imaging McCain making the appointments for those seats. Probably first thing to go down the drain is a woman's right to choose along with a whole host of other issues related to minorities and WOMEN. Imagine the hawkish foreign policy he would endorse ultimately leading to confrontations w/ Iran, North Korea, or Russia. Certainly, there is no lack of excuses for him to start one here. It most certainly is a fact that all of the three countries I mentioned have done much more than Sadam did. And, we went to all out war with Sadam. Brrrrrr.... I have suddenly gotten chilly....I think there is a DRAFT sneaking into my office here from somewhere. Wake up people.

When was the last time Mc Cain voted in the Senate? He didn't vote on the GI Bill, Medicare, several energy bills, FISA.
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/08/04/mccain-congress-should-reconvene-vote-on-energy-bill/

Mc Cain couldn't be rated Conservative/Liberal in2007 because he missed more than 1/2 votes. The same articles says there is almost was almost no difference between the 2007 voting records of Hillary and Obama.

I have heard many Hillary "supporters" claim that they are voting for McCain b/c Hillary wasn't shown "respect"

Here is a newsflash for those people - IF YOU VOTE FOR MCCAIN - IT IS THE BIGGEST SIGN OF DISRESPECT YOU COULD GIVE HILLARY. First, McCain represents EVERYTHING against which Hillary has fought her entire life (we are ONE Supreme Court Justice AWAY from overturning Roe...President Hillary in 2012 - will NOT be able to undo THAT) Second, Hillary is TELLING you to vote for Obama - if you go vote for McCain - You are proving everyone who did not vote for Hillary correct in their assessment - because if she can't even lead her supporters to vote for Obama (which is in their best interests) - then how is she supposed to be able to effectively lead the country??

If McCain gets in - President Hillary in 2012 - will NOT be able to undo the damage he will do...so stop fooling yourselves. Don't ruin this country for your children and mine because you are disappointed in the result of the primaries - Don't compound the problem.

I AM WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR!!!

(and watch me 'rage-vote' on the premise that I'm mad as hell and not going to take it anymore!) (who cares that I'm doing damage to the Supreme Court? What do they do anyway? Hillary can go in and fix it in 2012! What? They are lifetime appointments? When did that start? Sorry, I don't actually know that much about politics and the three branches of government.... But wait... won't John McCain have to (likely) deal with a majority Democratic Congress? So hah!!!! How would he get his judges past them?... what? Not all Democrats vote the same way? What do you mean? There are Conservative Democrats who would love to see Roe overturned? There are just enough of them to give McCain all the judges to replace who? Ginsburg and Stevens? Is that a law firm or something? What? They are the oldest and um,... healthwise .... oh,... well hey that's not my problem. I'm mad! Don't you get it? This is America and I have the right to vote any way I want.

You sure do.
AndThanksForNothing.
(If I hear one complaint from a person who voted for McCain that the country is so bad off under his presidency,... I will not stop pointing out how it is in fact THEIR FAULT. It makes for fun family gatherings now when those who voted for Bush last time around have something to say... There are so many variations on I TOLD YA SO.

Why thank you metalpipe.... :) It does feel good to vent. And every word comes from the heart (and the head). The PUMAS (whatever number of them there are) have trouble using both the heart and the head simultaneously... that's obvious.

to say that hillary had the judgement to be president flies in the face of all evidence and reason. it is no surprise, then, that these people would go to mccain. see ya, suckers!

7 people started out competing in the Democratic primary.

6 of them had more years in elected office than Hillary.

Nice job, Hill! You looked and sounded EXACTLY like a Rovian Rethuglican during the primary.

Just another reason why I, a Dem, have personally committed $500,000 to fund 527 groups who will work to ensure Hillary loses her next senate race.

I hope we're scouring the country finding ex-republican voters who are now supporting Obama. Let's put dozens of them in a commercial.

soon former Senator Hagel is ALMOST there, he certainly has been endorsing policies which would make it hard for him to endorse McCain.

I know a slew of them - and I live in red-red Kansas, where 76% went for Obama in the Democratic caucus.

You don't need to scour the country. Some of them are politicians and they are putting it right in their campaign ads. One of them, who happens to be governor of California and a McCain supporter, also said that he would serve in Obama's admin if asked. Another will speak at the DNConv. One of them, a current Repub senator who went with Obama to Iraq said of the choice of Biden as VP, "... An Obama-Biden ticket is a very impressive and strong team. Biden’s selection is good news for Obama and America." Bush's spiritual advisor supports Obama. A former-GOP Senator from Rhode Island and a former WH intelligence advisor have formed Republicans for Obama. Even a Rupublican mayor in Alaska. There's a lot more too. Folks are talking about an October surprise, it may well be the percentage of Republicans that may shift.

After the convention, there won't be scouring necessary. The campaign's been making subtle hints and inroads in this area since January. Also, watch what happens when some of those contested House/Senate seats and even some of the local races start to tighten up.

As she walks off camera, she's greeted by one of the campaign handlers who says, "You get double points for that one. You get to pick from the big stuffed elephants on the top row. If you bring in a friend, we'll give you an Obama tire gauge too. We have plenty of those left over ... they didn't get much traction."

If Democrats were to vote for McCain, they'd be voting for the interests of the superrich power elite.

...no kidding - this is evidenced by the polls - Obama and McCain are in a dead heat -- apparently, not only can people NOT remember - they don't pay attention - and don't have any deductive reasoning abilities (About HALF of the country - apparently - has THIS logic Republicans in power for the past 8 years - economy in Shambles...um, let's vote for the Republican)

Hillary should come out and say,
"If John wants to show me in battle and quote me, why doesn't he choose me for his Vice presidential running mate? No?, well then he should quit using me... Put up or shut up!!""

Maybe that will shut the wrinkly white haired dude up for good about Hillary.

I have a hunch about why McCain is not announcing his running mate until after the Democratic convention.

McCain/Clinton will be easy to beat. Nobody likes a sore loser and everybody hates a traitor.
