Brad Pitt Shoots Angelina And The Kids For W Magazine

Their last appearance on W Magazine's cover was in 2005, months before Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie officially became a couple and Jennifer Aniston became Pitt's ex-wife. Now, with six children between them and a life of globetrotting, acting and charitable work, the couple is again planning a W cover. But this time, it's Pitt behind the lense.

Fashion Week Daily reports Brad Pitt is photographing his partner and their six-strong brood for the magazine's November cover.

Several Hollywood sources exclusively confirmed to Fashion Week Daily that Brad Pitt photographed Angelina Jolie and brood at the Chateau Miraval in the South of France last week for the November cover of W. This is Pitt's inaugural turn creating a cover, although photography has been a longtime hobby of his. Not only did he appear on the March 2007 cover of Interview wielding a camera, Jolie reportedly gave him a Littman 45 single camera as a birthday gift. This marks the second time W has scored a highly-coveted Pitt/Jolie exclusive. In 2005, the magazine ended months of speculation when Pitt collaborated with friend Steven Klein to create a photo portfolio of Jolie and Pitt in the feature "Domestic Bliss" from the July 2005 issue.

It's one thing to court publicity and sell photos of yourself for p.r. and profit. However, I just saw the video of Brad with Angelina's two adopted sons in a boat in Venice. It was absolute insanity. How could parents sell photos of their kids to magazines knowing it creates this type of firestorm? The kids never look happy when they are outside. What must they think of the world with paparazzi constantly in their faces like predators? Hate to say it, but the orphans probably had a more stable and sane existence in the orphanage. The saddest thing is that stable, normal parents were probably on a waiting list for the kids Angelina adopted and got bumped aside when Angie came along with her big fat checkbook. Now those kids have a very bizarre and unstable existence. Too bad, because they could have been living with a nice, normal family, going to school and making friends. Something they will never do now.

We want privacy, really. That's why we live abroad--to avoid the pesky paparazzi that are allowed to run free because of our stupid constitution. So we go to countries where they can be arrested for coming within a mile of us because that is better. Because really, we like privacy. Except when we have a new baby and People magazine comes calling. And except when W comes calling. Other than that, f*** you if you show any interest in us because we want privacy.

When Pitt and Jolie were living in New Orleans, they would walk the streets of the Quarter and bike ride around town. They were very friendly and would say "hi" and wave to the locals. They are very nice, ordinary people when you meet them. Feel free to continue to hate them and fantasize about what they are like. Those of us who know differently think you are a little sad.

And why shouldn't they have privacy UNTIL they don't want Privacy? These are two of the smartest celebrities going these days. They grin and bear it...do they like it? No, but they both know it comes with the territory. And, it is only when the PAPs start bearing down on the kids, do they get a bit touchy...as they should.

They take full advantage of what their money can buy...whether its renting a house in Europe, or giving three kids ado children a fantastic life. B&Moan all you like, these people are living a full and fulfilling life ...More power to them!

Just curious... but when did the children get to decide just how much privacy they get? For two such smart celebrities, it seems they throw their children to the wolves fairly frequently.

As for the photo shoot: putting aside the fact that there are people who study and apprentice to be photographers... people who would kill for the opportunity being given to an actor with a "hobby", one has to question just how adroitly Pitt has sidestepped the legal agreement they made with People and Hello by taking the photos himself.

And finally... what perfect timing... family photos just when a new Pitt movie is hitting the American theaters.
